Course Curriculum Overview

5

Since the degree is of high value it gives you quite good money along with job security and prestige. The curriculum teaches me patience. The curriculum should be more interactive. The frequency and timings of exam is really hectic and high difficulty level but necessary for the profession.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees-- 1st year fees = 46000/- 2nd year fees = 46000/- 3rd year fees = 36000/- Final year fees = 56000/- Additional hostel fees = 3500/- per year Scholarship is given to students belonging to different categories like ST/SC/OBC

Campus Life

4

The campus is obviously new as we are the pioneer batch. Annual fests are organized including sports, fine arts, literary, cultural and many more. Library is available and books can be borrowed fir a period of 14 days. We have a good amount of resources as per a medical college. Apart from annual fest extracurricular activities like quizes were organized.

Admission

First we have to qualify the neet exam and score good to get a seat in the government medical college. This is one of the few medical colleges left in my state in my neet score range where I can get a seat. So I have taken admission here. As of neet 2024 the ur category cutoff was 595.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio as per each department is 1:20. Faculties are approachable. Faculties of some department are extremely good like anatomy, biochemistry, Microbiology. In each professional year one has to give 2 terminal exams, 1pre university exam and 1 final university exam. Almost more than 95% of the students manages to pass the exam and most from the remaining clears it in supplementary exams.

Night Life

2

As the campus is a little bit outer from the main city so girls hostel closes at 7:00 pm and boys hostel at 8:00 pm. Outside the college there are a lots of cafes to hangout. As the campus is in outer it is little bit unsafe to roam around at night.

The curriculum here is very practical based which includes dissection on cadavers, bone demonstration, hematology practicals, postings, biochem practicals etc. As the curriculum is very practical it prepares you well for the real world applications. Areas of improvement can be reduced written work and assignments. We have exams every 2-3 months which can be passes easily if you are consistent in your studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
