Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 5 year Full-time Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

(10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He/She should have secured a minimum of 50% Aggregate. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.

Anual fee in govt med college in chhattisgarh is 40-50 and u may file for scholarship . After 4.5 yrs of academic course you'll get a paid inte Of 15-20 k and then if bond of 2 years at 60 k salary as a medical officer

Some really good, really caring faculty.
The senior junior culture is mostly good and supportive

Dislikes

Too much interdepartmental issues leading to unnecessary clashes
Ego clashes are quite visible and apparent

50000 rupees per yer lump sum college fees for first second and third year 50000+ Around 25000 for the final leg(4.5 years total) 3500+ if you take hostel, every year Same fees for all categories Scholarship available for SC/ST candidates. Full fee refunded to their respective bank accounts, probably depends on whether their economic background is strong or not.

Likes

The fest in the college is awesome, All the seniors are friendly
The faculty of college is nice, in all the way some are also good singers,poet,rapper etc

Dislikes

The campus is so small according to college
There is no badminton court in our college

Good amount of teaching faculties and study methods
The pressure to study makes you wanna study

Dislikes

The pressure in mbbs is too much and the faculties are too strict
The college takes kinda pride in failing students in order to make them tough

Fees and Financial Aid:

During the time of my admission in 2023 I submitted 40000 as tution fees and 10000 as admisson fees in the form of demand draft. In my second year I am going to pay just 44600/- tuition fees for the whole year. If you belong to SC/ST/OBC-ncl then you can avail for a scholarship from the college.

Life at GMC Jagdalpur

The professors are good at teaching and the environment is very studious. Extra curriculum activities should be encouraged
Life is too green here that is campus is full of greenery and fresh air .

Dislikes

No air conditioned lecture theatres , no mic in LTs
The campus doesn’t have its own playground and it’s not safe to roam around at night

College provide all the necessary facilites required for MBBS.
Faculties are complete in all dept and have good teaching experience.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is lagging behind in a lot of aspects.
No proper auditorium is developed till now but It'll be developed in 1-2 yr.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Total fees sums up to 11 lacs(including hostel) for govt and management seats. Scholarships are available for OBC/SC/ST students. The fees has to be paid for a duration of 4.5 yrs. Overall its a decent enough college for those who missed govt seats by few marks. Also the connectivity is great.

The Specifications of Pt. JNMMC Raipur

24 hours open outer library, inner Library is closed at 12:00 AM and opened 9:30 AM
Almost every department of Medicine and Surgery with Non Clinical and Para clinical department are available.

Dislikes

Amenities like clean drinking water is not available everywhere in the campus
The lecture hall is not repaired ASAP, 3 out of 4 Lecture hall doesn't have well functioning air conditioning

Fees and Financial Aid:

During admission you will have to pay 2 Demand Drafts on the name of Dean ?40000(1st year tution fees) and ?10000(refundable after course completion). Then every year around sept you'll have to pay next year tution fees of ?40000 + ?6040 (Non-Govt. Fees + Library Fees + Red Cross Fees) + ?3500(if residing in hostel). The tuition fees of 40000 will be paid for next 3 years after admission and for 6 month course left will have to pay ?20000 again with additional fees of ?6040 + Hostel Fees. The eligible candidates of OBC SC ST of CG State get scholarship of around ?60000 every academic session.

The college campus is amazing, having 250 bed hospital, hostel is really very good
The faculties and staffs are too good, academics of college is very good

Dislikes

The food of the mess is the thing I disliked the most
Parking area is not present at hostel it must be managed well

The college odhti Shankaracharya institute of medical sciences fees is 10,00,000 (tuition fee) per year and overall is 50,00,000 over all fees And hostel fees is 2,00,000/ year and 10,00,000 for 5 years
