- Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
- Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
- Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden
Dislikes
- The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
- Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
- There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

- Location: Located on the banks of Ganga and college consistently gives you positive vibrations. But take care of yourself.
- Transportation:: Enough facilities like Air / Rail /Road transport to reach Patna from various locations of the country. Do not worry it is not problem like some colleges. You will easily get auto at any time just outside campus gate.
- NIRF RANKING : 63 in NIRF Ranking in 2022, 72 in NIRF Ranking in 2021, 92 in NIRF Ranking in 2020, 134 in NIRF Ranking in 2019, 182 in NIRF Ranking in 2018. This shows that college is working really hard towards the betterment of itself.
Dislikes
- Campus : Small campus(about 50–60 acres adjoining slums)but having small area makes u reach ur classes quickly..
- Busy roads : Too much construction going on so the roads are damaged(but new layers being laid,so it will be fine in about a month).
- Hostel: The hostel facility really sucks in accommodation of all the students (however it's being said that from the new batch they will accommodate everyone).

Placement Experience:
We are proud to share that the overall placement percentage of the institute was 165%, with more than 150 companies visiting last season.
The average package is so far 13.7 LPA, with the highest offer being made of 1.6 Crore per annum!
Basically it is good sign for NIT Patna on placement basis, hugest CTC and placement % increase drastically compare to last 2–3 years.
Hearty thanks to placement cell of NITP and congratulations to my seniors who got place and best wishes for who still try to placed.

- Hostel facilities not available for masters
Placement Experience:
Placement is good at graduation level, fir masters it is slightly less but it give placement opportunity for around 25-30% students. L&T, EIL, BPCL etc visit for campus placement. In Civil engineering highest package is around 16-18 lakhs. My plan is for research after doing my masters.

- Ground and even campus so that we can move easily
- And also we are south they are well grouped
- We gained more freedom than inter colleges

- Hostel and food facilities in nit patna.
- We can't eat and we can't live there that much dirtily it will be
- Guns are there with bihar students so that we can be frightened
Placement Experience:
Placements are going very well and this could be the great opportunity by preferred nits. nits get very much high package than private ones so last year so many students are placed and they are high payed

- I liked the college life which differrent from all
- Seniors are good and they help us alot to us
- Surrounding malls,zoos,and many place around
Dislikes
- Small campus because it's just 40 acres and
- Gate closing time for girls is 9 o clock
- And a small canteen which developing right now
Placement Experience:
Yeah the placements are good
As cse bags more and next to that ece in software side
And nit p is special for civil department it has good jobs in core subject
The placements are very good as per my knowledge

- Mess Food is also eatable,i think which is also a good availability.
- Friendly nature of classmates and seniors.

- Faculties do not explain topics clearly.’
- Campus is pretty small and hostels are congested.
- Gender ratio in class is also not so good

Placements are good at Nit Patna. The median package of my branch is about 8.5 lakh and it have average of 13 lakhs.Almost every student get the campus placement here that is the benefit of being at NIT

- People over here the bond i created in first sem everyone is so friendly environment especially ganga ghat over here
- Clubs societies is also good most important I like the people over here so friendly and environment here is also not toxic
Dislikes
- Small campus ,hostel facilities assignment
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year I guess student become eligible for campus placement but i don't know more about this as I am fresher and in three month didn't explore or got knowledge about these things but get to know about this ver soon

- Studies :teacher taught in a well manner to us.
- Games: we have playground and sports facilities
- Fest: regular fest organised at our campus
Dislikes
- Campus: still it is not our permanent campus
- Teacher: some of them are not good in communication skills
- Senior: some of them are not helpfull to us
Placement Experience:
Max package was of 45 lakh in 2023 for ece branch... Many of the big recruiters visited our college for placement like google, Microsoft, adobe etc... Placement is given to students of every branch and it is about 100%

- The campus environment is good and clean.
- The campsu is located in middle of the city.
- Placement is very good and there are many courses

- The campus is very small and conjested..
- The boys hostel is located out of the campus.
- The campus is very near to the ganga river
Placement Experience:
From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placements.many companies will visit the campus like google, amazon, tcs,tata, l&t etc
Highest package is 1.7 cr and average package was 13 lpa.placement percentage is 91%.

- Placement statistics is best as it is in Bihar but here more than 95 percentage student got placed
- Teachers are well connected with students
- Ragging is totally prohibited so students feel safe
Dislikes
- There is no tourism place near college where we can go and enjoy
- As it is very old nit so infrastructure is not as good as expected
- Some time we have to forcefully accept the mess food
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I was so enthusiastic about software development.
All facilities are well qualified. Teaching methods are superb .
Also there is feeling of school days when teachers teaches us. They use to be connected with the students.
Exams were held semester wise.
If we have to score good marks it is enough to follow teachers.

- the peaceful environment and friendly timing for classes.
- climate in bihar, awesome really I loved it gthe monsoon season and winter season .
- college situated just besides the river ganga and on other side little far from markets which make it a silent and peaceful environment.
Dislikes
- the behavious of some outside people talking rude or in high voice to thir customers.
- the traffic like for even going for short distance by rikshaw ehic will cost you around min 30 minutes
- the distance between boys hostel and college campus almost 500m everyday travelling this much.
Placement Experience:
1. from 7th semester.
2. there are 50+ companies which visits and min 6 lac package is offered in every branch.
3. in cse highest package was 75lpa last year with 17lpa average package and in mechanical 20lpa highest with 10 lpa average.
4. in core branch there is always almost 98% placement and in cse almost 87% placments are done.
5. to continue in the job for some year in which got placed and preparing for gate exams.
