An Emerging NIT

I got electronics and Communication engineering branch as I filled it in the JoSAA counselling. You know ECE is tougher branch as compared to Computer science but In my college , Highest package of ECE branch is higher than that of CSE branch. Here, In my class there are 180 students in which approx. 40-50 girls.ECE divided into two section each of 90 students. Faculty are good.If you study 5 days ago your mid or end sem then you score well.

Answering the question in a general sense, sharpen your technical skills in the area that you're interested in and look for opportunities through your college, peers and the internet (your biggest tool). Answering the question in the sense of a student enrolled in a CS course, I would classify internships as the following and answer them accordingly: Research internships: If you think you want to pursue research after your undergraduate studies or just like innovation in general or contributing to the research community, this is your chance to do it. Mind you, don't think about monetory compensation much. Just be happy that you're making something new. For getting a research internship, find your interest in your technical area and dig deep. Also parallely apply to various programs such as IAS research fellowship programme, SN Bose, Mitacs, DAAD. Also all IITs have a summer research internship programme. Other than this, mail the profs whose area aligns with your interests.

We are proud to share that the overall placement percentage of the institute was 165%, with more than 150 companies visiting last season. The average package is so far 13.7 LPA, with the highest offer being made of 1.6 Crore per annum! Basically it is good sign for NIT Patna on placement basis, hugest CTC and placement % increase drastically compare to last 2–3 years. Hearty thanks to placement cell of NITP and congratulations to my seniors who got place and best wishes for who still try to placed.

As per the revision in fee structure by the committee of NITs in 2023, UG students have to pay the fee accordingly: Tuition fee has been revised to Rs.1,25,000 per student per annum from academic year 2022-23. *The SC/ST and physically handicapped students shall get complete tuition fee waiver. *The most economically backward students (whose family income is less than Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum) shall get full remission in tuition fee. *The other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs. 1.00 lakh to 5.00 lakh) shall get remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee. These are the changes made by the committee In addition, students have to pay registration fee, examination fee, student activity fee and other charges also

There are many clubs in NITP There are Cultural clubs like drama, dance, literature….. Technical clubs Robotics, coding …….. Civil department clubs are CESC and IWWA. New clubs but improving it community will be more likely to be seen in next few years. My favourite club is HackSlash. By the way I am not member of this ????. But I join some events and online sessions related to technology and coding throughout 1st year.Here , There is a Central Library where there is Precious collection of books. It is great. Almost all type of books available like academics, competitive, general books etc. High speed Wi-Fi and AC facilities

Hostel facility for 1 year student and 2 year onwards students are different. For 1 year, you will get a room having 3 bed or two bed.you can also get single bed rooms ,but chance as well as room are overall not so good.there are 3 hostels for 1 year student; sone hostel block a and b. ,kosi extension near ganga ghat ,ganga hostel (not girls hostel) which is inside the campus. Food are not so good .basic amenities like drinking water, bathroom ,common room are overall good .you will get some space inside the hostel to play underarm cricket, badminton and volleyball.since the hostel is just for 1 year student,you will not confront any senior

I gave JEE Exam in 2023 and I get 98.09%ile in first attempt(21k gen rank).So, I apply for JoSAA counselling and In second round , I got NITP ECE branch which was good.Admission process was quite easy. Only you need to go on campus on reporting time and after process was easy.
