- Faculty in my department are very good .i like the way of their teaching they are ready to entertain your doubts ready to take extra classes
- The placements opportunities here are very good, as the college has some of the very best company connections thus helping us to have a bright placement opportunity.
- Many scholarships are available you can avail anything one of my friends hot 50000 scholarship from ngo and it is perfect year .so that he can study well .
Dislikes
- The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );
- I don't like the washing machines provided. they don't work most of the times and not good care is taken for them.
- Food i was bit dissatisfied with mess food and bored of it

In phase 1 alone 207 students were placed,including 58 pre placement offers. Impressively, 12 international offers were made. The average package of Indian Institute of Technology stood at ?25.5LPA,where the highest domestic package reached 60LPA.Top recruiters this year are GOOGLE 15 offers ,FLIPKART, ZS ASSOCIATES,MICROSOFT ,AMAZON, ADOBE, INTEL , NVIDIA ,and ACCENTURE JAPAN.
Departmentwise, M.Sc Mathematics program achieved 100%placement, artificial intelligence and data science 80% and computer science and engineering 75%. Aproximately 700 students participated for placements this year and participation of over 220 companies.

- No need for changing all is going good we are happy
- The faculties is best the iit graduate professor is teaching
- The infrastructure is best and team are also good
Dislikes
- You have to maintain 75%attendance. It is really tough because their timing is really big.
Placement Experience:
From 3 semester students is eligible for campus placement All companies is coming lakh highest package in Google 90 percent students get placed in companies my plan after getting is to do job and startup

- Campus size was nice and the admin area is big
- The hostel is a big small but maintained
- There are four badminton courts and two basketball courts

- Maintainance of the hostel is not good .
- The washing machines are not always in the working conditions
- The academic stress is high and the boys to girls ratio is 1:4

The professors set the exam papers difficult. Grading is not relative but absolute here so ots ki fa difficult to score a good cgpa and all . The courses are ig up to date only , atleast for mnc branch

- I like the Transportation system there are 4 buses that run inside the campus time to time.
- Curriculum is well designed all the lectures run freely no hectic schedules.
- Professors are strict but they to listen to our problems regarding the way of teaching they do adopt to our pace, that really helps us to stay focused in class.
Dislikes
- Colors of Infrastructures all of them are painted same color that's pretty annoying.
- Labs are outdated I think we are wasting time for simple and basic applications, we do want to learn complex things taught in the lectures.
- Library is small it is always packed and our department library is being used as a storage room for new equipment.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for placements, around 50 companies came to IIT Patna for placement drive and 60+ companies visited for hiring interns. As of I know by January 2025 nearly 80% of 4th years were placed and still it is going on these numbers might change there are aroung 500 plus fourth year students and 600 plus 3rd year students. Highest package was over 60LPA and average is 25LPA for over all placement drive till January(per company is not disclosed to 3rd years yet so I am not sure for individual companies) I am things about higher studies may be I might pursue M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

- Infrastructure is vast, incredible. and campus is very grand and having positive environment.
- support and guidence for internship , Professors are so good and humble
- Placement is better , but it's depend on your and academic record and performance.
Dislikes
- attendance issues , mess food is better but not more good
- Loan issue , I am not getting the Loan from the government
- Getting Loan is the biggest issue in this degree/ program, college is still solving the loan issue , but the loan is not getting approved yet.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is designed in a very good way , that oyu can cover all aspects of this programm and placed in good company . this course cover all the important topics which are required for job and internship support.
IIT Patna getting you 100% support for placements , but it is depend only you and your capabilities.

- Their teaching they are very skilled , every thing they are teaching here is very effective and relative
- I have met lot of friends and from different different part of country, I'm happy with it
- It's a prominent institute of India so I'm very Happy to be the part of it
Dislikes
- Class size is a problem here , sometimes I feel I'm not heard here
- Sometimes I feel like there's a very little exposure of competition
- Sports, we can't really participate in sports event that's a major con

For the placements I don't really have much of an idea about it , since we are early batches here but my expectations are quite high here since it's a prominent name and the I'm thinking after completing this course I will go from mtech

- The Coding culture of IIT PATNA is insane. Seniors are very helpful to you if you ask for help.
- Extracurricular activities are also good. You can easily develop one of your talents here in IIT PATNA
- Placement scenario is also goated. The average placement of last year of my branch which is computer science was 17LPA.
Dislikes
- The boy to girl ratio of IIT PATNA is bad. there is approx 80:20 ratio of boys vs girls.
- The main campus of IIT PATNA is a little away from main town which can be a problem sometimes.
- Weather can be extreme a lots of time if you don't have a habit of it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The exams are conducted once in midsem and then endsem. With quiz conducting avg. per fifteen days. Being an IIT, IIT PATNA has a rigorous curriculum but it's manageable because students are also pretty good academically.
More coding related subjects can be added and non-coding related subjects can be removed.

- There is only 16 to 18 hours of lecture per week. Thats why I get extra time for my extra learning and extra curriculum activities.
- I can attend my classes from anywhere and they are providing library for some students so that they can attend their classes from their.
- Even if I miss any my class lecture I can attend them later within 48 hours . And they will mark my attendance right after the completion of the lecture.
Dislikes
- Sometimes there is 4 to 5 assignments (MCQ Quiz) in a day which we have to complete and submit before the deadline.
- There is only 10-12 days of campus immersion per semester.
- After getting admission you get some student support helpline number. So that you can contact them any time you have an issue. But sometimes they will not pick up your phone calls for more than 10 days.
Placement Experience:
The average placement of my college is 25.52 lpa and the placement rate for 2024 graduating students is around 77.92 %. Campus placement support will be offered after completing this course as they have clearly mentioned it in their broucher.

- College has very good Infrastructure development and is well maintained.
- The college students give high preference to sports and other cultural activities.
- The standards of college faculty is very high and they teach very well.
Dislikes
- I am doing my degree in Chemical Engineering, since most of the students dont want to opt this course we are less in number.
- The seniors are very strict about hostel rules and regulations.
- I do not like the mess food . It tastes sweet and it doesn't suit the eating style where I come from.
Placement Experience:
The Campus placements are quite good. Almost 50 percentage of students get placed but most of the students dont not have plans on accepting placements they either have their own plans or choose to go for Masters degree. Average package is around 1300000.
