IIT PATNA from the INSIDE

The exams are conducted once in midsem and then endsem. With quiz conducting avg. per fifteen days. Being an IIT, IIT PATNA has a rigorous curriculum but it's manageable because students are also pretty good academically. More coding related subjects can be added and non-coding related subjects can be removed.

For each semester IIT Patna is taking 40000 per semester. My total fees for four years in a IIT is 10.5 lakhs, provided that you do not take fee remmission. If your income is between 1-5 lpa then fees will be approx 5 lakhs for 4 years. And if your income is less than 1 lakhs then fees will be approx 3-3.5 lakhs. This also applies if you are sc/st/pwd. If your parent aren't in a government service then you can easily get fee remmission by showing fake documents if your family income is less tha 1 lac iit will remove his tuition fees if its less than 5 lac 2/3 of fees

Campus of IIT Patna is really beautiful and vast. Campus area of IIT Patna is approx 500 acres. There are so many cultural and tech fest at IIT PATNA. Hackathons are also has a vital role in IIT PATNA. There are a lots of club at IIT PATNA. And club participation can led to meeting up with peers like you and also a good way to network. Sports infrastructure of IIT PATNA is also above avg. There is yearly sports tournaments.

Hostels at IIT Patna is really affordable. It's like 6500 per year. You can register for hostel allotment at the time of admission and you can easily be granted a hostel. The mess food is edible that's all you need to know about it. There are pgs in the locality which you can live more comfortably but hostels are the best place to make memories.

IIT PATNA was the first college I applied to as it was close to my hometown. IIT PATNA was my first choice. My JEE MAINS percentile was 99.8XX percentile and Adv. Rank was 2xx. I filled JOSAA counselling and in the counselling my first choice was IIT PATNA CSE and thankfully I got it.

All of the professors at IIT PATNA are very intellectual and amazing at their work Some might have a little bit of issue conveying that intellect. You will find professors whose classes you will love to attend and won’t even mind attending an extra class. Dr. Arghya Chaudhary is my favourite faculty member. He is so down to earth while talking to us and it's like he knows our problem. Sandeep Aashish is the faculty member which I am not a fan of. It's just I am not a fan of his teaching. The curriculum of IIT PATNA is pretty relevant to the job market with some being exceptions. Endsem at IIT PATNA is of average difficulty. 90 percent students pass without back.

The cafeteria food of IIT PATNA is really good. Me and my girls fav spot is the cafeteria. There are a lots of bench and grass at IIT Patna which makes it really amazing to just sit and hangout. IIT PATNA is in patna so the nightlife is really average. And patna is not the city where it is safe to travel late at night.
