- I liked the famous too much it's very greenery...as there many courses but one thing is that apart from bsc agriculture the boys girls ratio is 1:1 but in other courses like community science,Btech the ratio of girls and boys is 2:1 girls are more
- Also there are 100% internship for the students ...also pratical labs are well developed ...also placement are there I saw in brochure showing some good company like amul,tea company and last year my freinds brother got job of 60k at seed company
- Teachers are very friendly... although there is no language barrier and many people of Manipur, arunachal pradesh and nagaland studies here... faculties are also well educated and practical are ok ok .. although I joined in August it's good till now
Dislikes
- The hostel is little bit dirty I don't like that ..the bathroom are dirty sometimes ... water is little polluted but it will be fixed in few days
- I another thing I don't like is the some practical classes like mushroom..where we have to make compost ,bagging and boiling compost which I feel very dirty and some classes of agronomy which is very diff for us
- Another thing is the class ... class is little bit far ...all classroom are little bit far from each other except theory classes ..
Placement Experience:
As I m just in 1st year I have little idea ..the highest package is 12lpa and one thing is 100% intership is there ... amul, punjab national bank , federal Bank,seed companies and many more visits for on campus placement avg may be 3-4 if here is no placement in ug ..many of us will do msc or prepare for competitive exam like nabard and Ado .. placement start form 4th year .. overall 70-80% placement ratio

- Situated in a remote area due to which town exposure is less
Course Curriculum Overview:
It is a very good course to compete with todays world. You will be benefited with all the knowledge about plants crops and animal husbandry. Entrance exam is also no that much tough. So you can choose this course without any hesitation.

- Regular sports related programs so students can imporve their skills
- Quality of hostel is good and mess quality is good
- Teacher and student relation and ration is good
Dislikes
- Maintanence of play grounds are irregular
- Poor supply of sports related stuff as result there is difficulty in playing
- There is only one canteen available so there is problem as large number students are there
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course provide knowledge about agriculture as india Assam is agriculture based state so i choose this course.
They prepare us with modern techniques of agriculture.
Improvements in college managment is necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I larn in this course curriculum is how to cultivate, when i cultivate crops fruits, how to manage this, when i harvesting, how to treat after harvesting etc. This course curriculum needs improvement like give more practical knowledge than theory

- The professors are friendly and they encourage us to be competitive
- The administration of courses is easy and hassel free
- The subjects are easy enough to understand
Dislikes
- Some professor are to much clingy and have strict rules
- Administration block don't have enough work force
- The professor are too old fashioned about the rules and the college bulidings don't have enough facilities
Course Curriculum Overview:
Agriculture includes all the aspects of life
It includes engineering, maths,social communication,and also tge relevant topics of our agriculture system.It includes horticulture crop physiology, extention, agronomy, entomology...etc

- This college is best for self improvement and socialising as the student gets to exposed directly with the professor
- Various playing activities like Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc are available in the college. A in built indoor stadium is also there
- Placement of the college is fair enough to be able to appear in the ICAR JRF exam and various civil services exam of the state
Dislikes
- The infrastructure to area ratio of the college is very less as there not so much infrastructure developed than there is area in the college
- Faculty members for various department is not in the required number and this thing needs improvement
- Also the college is situated in a remote area where the connection with the main stream is highly restricted
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am a biology loving student so my primary Aim is for NEET exam but somehow I was attracted to Plant science thats why I opt agriculture as my profession.
The curriculum expose us with various extension programmes that helps us explore with the farmer community
The main problem is with the course curriculum is that experimental study is less

- I like the college campus because it is green in nature.
- I like the environment of the college as it has beautiful garden.
- The college campus has the pine garden that is evergreen in nature .
Dislikes
- Infrastructure development is required..
- Daily essentials are not available inside the campus.
- Required quality food from the college canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Agriculture is the purest cultue in the world.So cultivating crops and serve the soil is the primary aim of agriculture.Through agriculture we can meet the food requirement of the growing population .

- Campus is very huge almost 1400 Bighass of land area
- Teachers student bonding is good as compared to other colleges
- Here Girls Student ratio is more as they promote women empowerment
Dislikes
- Shortage of hostels . Seats for students are increasing but not now. of hostels.
- There is no proper placement cell , as the existing placement cell don't work activly.
- Few teachers are patriary and old minded
Course Curriculum Overview:
The new syllabus under new education policy is better which focuses on practicality.but the old one in which we are enrolled is more focused on theoretical aspects rather than practicality. Students start studying before 2 days of exam and forgot everything after exams ...its like parrot learning , which do not teach anything in reality .

- Due to less number of students, teachers know each and every student.
- Sports is very much promoted by teachers and senior students as well.
- Very large campus area with rural feel. Greenary is everywhere.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not very much improved.
- College doesn't provide funds for any occasion. Every celebration is done with the donations by students.
- Campus placement generally doesn't occur.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Due to the implementation of the 6th Dean Committee ( New Education Policy), the course curriculum has changed very much. It focuses more on practicality than theory now. Along with that programmes like RAWEP (internship) and ELP enhance the course efficiency.

- We are given to deal with real life situations with hand tools where the real agriculture struggles arrives. It not only teaches about the rural techniques but also make us adapt at any situation. Colleges takes us to different Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
- College takes us to various Krishi Vigyan Kendra’s for rural technology and indigenous technologies and deal with the principal scientist and farmers there.
- We have an excursion for 1 month provided by college itself . We’ll visit different institutions and research institutions of southern India and more like a fun tour.
Dislikes
- It’s about the fees structure. It’s quite high as compared to other government institutions.
Placement Experience:
My plans after this course will be cultivating mushrooms in my own field.
Agriculture not only teaches us farming but also entrepreneurship skills and how to develop a successful business and mushroom cultivation has great scope in future.
