Honest and experience based review

Likes

Decent amount of tution fee making it easier to afford and also availability of the campus was very good
Internship which were paid and give experience certificates too
Clean environment, along with good infrastucture

Dislikes

Low availability of proffesiors in accordance to strength of whole college and department as a whole
Less classes and most classes are skipped and not taught
Absence of lab equipments , low maintanance , less area for lab

Course Curriculum Overview:

Class curriculum was vase and was covering overall aspect of what can be taught under the specifity of the course making sense and was hence relavant and known to students was will be result and outcome to be gathered.

Veterinarians assembled for greater good future

Likes

Campus , canteen and walking zone is my favourite area ... volleyball court is also very broad and easily accessible........ departments are clean and high tech .......very good college ...... especially the wide gardens and animal shelter are quite
Cafeteria inside the campus ....language barriers are not a problem
There is a cow shed in the middle of a big garden

Dislikes

Hostel is not good , hostel mess is non functional
Campus is very small and there is no park
Anatomy department has no bones for studying

Placement Experience:

Placement is good We get much salary as an intern People find it very interesting as the monthly salary is very good and the money transfer is very feasible The course provides a lot more opportunities for money and income gates are open all over the world

Short and Simple

Likes

The teachers are very punctual and helpful
The surrounding is huge and almost all the daily essential are available inside the campus
Nice library and AC installed in all the classroom

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be improve and repainting is required
More extra curricular activities can be included
Quality of water is not good, iron content is high

I choose this course as nutrition is one that plays a very important role in our daily life. Moreover i have a keen interest in everything that involves food.And to explore more about food i take this subject.

CVSc: unlocking the veterinary science knowledge

Likes

The campus of the college is one of the best things with lush green trees. The college is located at the outskirts but yet at heart of the city with no problems of communication communication
Majority of the faculty members are helpful and considerate
The infrastructure of the college is also appreciable with all departments having a separate section along with well equipped laboratories

Dislikes

The hostel rules are strict. Entry time for hostels are 6.30.
Politically the college is not that active but when politics hit the campus the environment becomes unlikeable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of 5.& half years with 4 and half years of classroom teaching and one year of internship. The first 3 years are a combination of veterinary science subjects and animal sciences whereas the last year is completely dedicated to clinical aspects of veterinary science.the college follows VCI MVSE 2016 guidelines. The college has 3 livestock farms dedicated to cattle,swine.

My view about College of Veterinary Science, Guwahati

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and the ambience is very nature oriented. Cleanliness maintained regularly.
The infrastructure including library facility, auditorium, indoor stadium, field gymnasium, mudic room are very good.
The teaching faculty is very good, experienced teachers are there . NCC is compulsory for 3 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of the degree is well maintained. There are 3 internal exams and 1 end-term external exam including practicals. Compulsory NCC has there in the curriculum for 3 years. The curriculum prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits.

College of Veterinary Science in a glance

Likes

The college environment is great, it's well maintained and spacious.
The departments are well equipped and the professors are highly qualified and they really teach well.
The people here are welcoming in every aspect.

Dislikes

The student's union have very less power
There exists a unhealthy competition amongst the boys hostel regarding competition.
There is no college placement available after the completion of the degree

We have both theory and practical classes in equal proportions so the aspects of application of the theory knowledge in practical animals or practical lives are met accordingly. Our exams are conducted in a highly efficient manner and a huge number of exams are conducted regularly, there is no chance of passing the session without studying.

Teaching style is nice with really good professors

The course is no where near to being easy and when I first entered, I was unsure if i could make it this far but the way this course curriculum is paced is absolutely right. It not only involves formal education but it also gives us practical knowledge in the best way possible

A Knowledgeable and Beautiful Campus Life.

Likes

The faculties are highly educated and very much student friendly. Sometimes the doubt sessions were held by the professors
The campus is so much green and very attractive environment. The hostels are very good for staying and all the necessities are provided in the hostel.
The placement cell works so hard to provide job opportunities to the students after and during the course.

Dislikes

Sometimes there was electricity problems and water problems.
Scoring in the exams is very tough as the faculties check the paper to hard.
Sometimes the fees structure were not student friendly.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell work hard sometimes. The students have to grab opportunities here as the placement cell provides job vacancies time to time and students can grab it. After completing the course you can get thousands of job.

Genuine review of aau

Likes

The rules and regulations of the university is quite good and strict
The facilities provided is quite good like drinking water air cinditioned classrooms library auditorium etc

Dislikes

The teachers sometimes only speak the local language even after telling them that some of the students don't understand the language

It is an agricultural course so we have lots of practical works to do and also because of this practical works we are exposed to new things and we not inly learn about agriculture we have extension education environmental education and many more included in our course
