Likes
- Financial helps are giving yearly to the toppers of each department.
- This college is celebrating many activities like racaf the cultural fest , synergy the sports week and the shristi the technical fest in student can perform as per their interest .
- Placement are good as nerist is the best college in northeast regions
Dislikes
- Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students tata, vedanta, oil india , gr infra , srijan,pradan,sales companies a fiew max package is 9 lpa and lowestbis 2.16 lpa around 10/12% students gets placememt
- Hostel facilities are not good as i can say it very average like fooding is not good , sometimes electricity issues occurs and water issues in the bathroom and basins and also drinking water cooler is stopped working sometimes
- Internship fees are not being supported by college. although the travelling expenses are being payed from college

- I really like the environment of the college since it has many greenery.which makes it perfect for forestry students to conduct research and experiments
- Appropriate labs for every class and precision equipment
- Cozy hostel and easy transportation to and fro to classes
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement in the final year final semester. Different companies come for placement and also number of offers. Among which a package upto 12lakhs being the highest among the placement offers. Out of 10 students approximately 6 students get selected which is a very good number. I have already graduated from this college and I am planning for further studies.

- The faculty members for Forestry department are nice
- The campus has a friendly environment for evening and morning walk
- A nice big Central library with available books for the course
Dislikes
- Some of the hostels are old though they are being renovated continuously
- Internship fees are not being supported by college. Although the travelling expenses are being payed from college
- Few renovation still required in department while are being workon
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course - bsc forestry syllabus is well defined based on the new syllabus from the year 2020 batch for affiliation with icar. Involves compulsory 4 months internship in the final year (4 year course)
Faculty - total 9 + guest lecturers
They are very experienced and one of the very dedicated to their work. Teaching is through presentation, notes, experiences and learning from practical activities.
Exam- mid sem and end sem in between each semester. Involves Quizes and practicals.

- Well qualified faculties with satisfied teaching methods with bit oral and visuals with field works.
- Library with well managed, provided with all the reference books, well ventilated. Its fitted with ac, proper power supply and unlimited free wifi for the students
- Cultural and technical fest which provides room for students to improve their confidence, knowledge, experience and aptitude and improve overall physical and mental state of students.
Dislikes
- Playground is under construction . If it is finished then it will be good for students who wants to play.
- Long queue for submission of registration form.
- Inadequate amount of lab appliances. Lack of proper number of appliance and small room
Placement Experience:
Placement is eligible for final year students according to the cgpa prefered by the external companies or agents. Companies visited are PRADHAN, Efu-station and other companies. They provided minimum of 10-15 candidates. Highest offer is upto 16LPA and minimum is around 3.5 LPA. Average is about 5-6 LPA. Pecentage of students getting placement is about 15-20 percent. After getting the degree i will go for upsc exams for post of IFS or other exams for jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Forestry is professional and interesting course.
Faculty: student ratio is 1:3
Qualification of faculty have PhD. And teaching method is good.
Exams term have 2 terms . Midsem & endsem.
Exams pass is mild difficult.

- Environment of our college is very good , there are many trees and plant species which help us to refresh
- The faculty members help us a lot with our studies and give us many helpful information that we will need in our future
- Facilities our university is in top we get everything inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview:
Bsc forestry is a unique course were we can connect to nature and our old ancestors roots . The ratio of faculty in nerist is 2:4
Qualification of the faculty is high they all are PhD rank holders
Exams are taken 2 times in a sem

- The college is residential and is filled with all the necessary amenities of a student's hostel stay.
- The campus is filled with lust green trees covering almost every corners of the institute.
Dislikes
- The yearly schedule of students are fully packed with festivals and exams
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is based under the ICAR curriculum.
All the faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable with various achievements and papers under their names.
The course provides a kneen knowledge of the importance of forest in the improvement of our living conditions.
The terminal examinations are a bit intensely planned but can be cracked if preparations are made regularly with regular attendance in classes.
The faculty:student ratio is ideal.

- The trees on the road make me relaxing and get good air.
- Nerist provides library for the students and i would like to ask to add for books in the library.
- Game and sports are organizing frequently and and other festivals are celebrating.
Placement Experience:
1. After B. Sc Or B. Tech
2. PRADHAN , EDUSTATION etc and the company offer for the project executive and many others.
3. 2 lakh per year
4. Almost 30 perfect get placement
5. To get job in any organization or to study for civil service exams.
