- Financial helps are giving yearly to the toppers of each department.
- This college is celebrating many activities like racaf the cultural fest , synergy the sports week and the shristi the technical fest in student can perform as per their interest .
- Placement are good as nerist is the best college in northeast regions
Dislikes
- Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students tata, vedanta, oil india , gr infra , srijan,pradan,sales companies a fiew max package is 9 lpa and lowestbis 2.16 lpa around 10/12% students gets placememt
- Hostel facilities are not good as i can say it very average like fooding is not good , sometimes electricity issues occurs and water issues in the bathroom and basins and also drinking water cooler is stopped working sometimes
- Internship fees are not being supported by college. although the travelling expenses are being payed from college

Placement is not that good in our college only two or three companies approach for placement like tata, Ibm etc
The campus placement start eligibility only for the final year students,, and the package offered i kind of average. I planned to join tata company

- Honestly I like the fee structure . It is quite low comparing to other colleges . And I can say it is affordable for all the students . I like the college festivals which give a chance to the students to interact with each other and also get to know.
- I like the professors and the lectures also . They are quite friendly with the students . They are like easily approachable by every students. They provide notes in pdf through group chats also. They are so helpful. They always show up in functions
- I like the facilities provided by the institution including the placements and all. I also like the examination system of this college . Two examinations in a semester make us much easier to pass the exams . And the format of the question paper good.
Dislikes
- I cannot say ragging but one the the few things I dislike about my college is that there used to be frequent general body meetings in a semester . In every meetings we are made to stay late night and used to get scolded to a slight mistake done byone
- The contribution of the festivals and all is also out of affordable range for some students . So I think there should be some changes made in the contribution system . And conduct the function upto our ability only . Maximum contribution depressed us
- I think some of the students need proper inspection by the hostel wardens and care takers . Because boldly speaking there are many students who drink and smoke inside the hostel premises . So strict inspection is needed in these areas orelse badfault
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements when they are in the last semester of BTech or BSc degrees . Quite big companies visited for placements . Some of the companies are Pradhan, Edustation , Sieze fire management , Grouwupp, Hike education, ,Srijan company, Red dot health company, Corizo , Salasar Services, Planet spark , Smart Owl education , Learning routes pvt. , Intellipaat Software , Cheperone Solution ,Tata
company , Mahindra company visited our institution bfor placements . And many of the students got the relevant jobs after the interview. In a year on an average of 20 students are selected for placements . I have option plans after the degree. My first plan is to apply for government job in my state as I have already mention that I want a stable job . And my second option is to study masters . But applying job and giving GATE exam would be simultaneous I guess. So If I get job , I won't study masters . But if not I'll go for further master studies as simple as it's

Placement Experience:
B.Tech 4th-year 1st year will be the period when you will get the opportunity to face on-campus placements. There were a quite few companies such as VEDANTA, POWER GRID, ONGC, and many more that come for placements. Each year around 40-50 people get the opportunity to receive on-campus placements. Last semester's highest package was 12.00 LPA and the average is about 8.00 LPA. the percentage is about 42%. My plans will be off-campus placements
