The mechanical department at the college is well-regarded, although there is an overall shortage of faculty. The current faculty-to-student ratio is 1:5, highlighting the need for more educators. Placement opportunities are limited, with only two or three companies, such as Tata and IBM, participating. These placements are available for final-year students and offer average salary packages. There is a strong desire among students for the college to provide more internship opportunities. The fee structure includes an annual tuition fee of 10,000, with an additional hostel fee of 24,000 for a 12-month stay. A scholarship worth 24,000 is available exclusively for students in the SC category, and students can apply for only one scholarship at a time. There are no additional tuition fees or extra charges.
