Level of study is good teachers are kind and generous
Infrastructure of hostel and college is nice
Dislikes
Too much spiritually kind of things are there
Schedule is very tight which is good but very hectic
No time to study other than college that is for competitive exams
Course Curriculum Overview:
There is no such reason of mine to choose this college my mom introduced this college to me and i applied. Yeah the curriculum teaches us to not lack with the society and to run forward from the society
Yes the areas which needs improvement are schedule of the instituiton. Cie are after 2 months and end sem is on the 6th month
The huge campus which has the provision of every single thing be it the atm machine, the stores which provides every item to purchase and the excellent library
The food that is served in the hostel is beyond explanation. It is served with so much love and is sumptuous beyond expectations.
The engagement in extra curricular activities is so much encouraged.
Dislikes
The Bachelor of Arts department needs a lot of improvement.
Academically, other departments are doing well but I personally believe that the history and political science department needs a lot of improvement.
Placement should be provided for BA course as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:
So, honestly, my decision was actually influenced by my mother as she is an ex student and I was not very much interested in joining the college as it did not allow us phones to keep and it was very much of a strange place to me. But as time flew in the campus I was very much enjoying the times spent there with thousands of things to learn about and most importantly I discovered myself there. In today's world, where people are too busy running behind others, this is a perfect place to discover yourself. With academics and the excellent faculty, there are a lot of life lessons learnt here.
Sri Sathya Sai institute of higher learning is a unique college which follows the gurukul method of education. All the students are bound to stay in the hostel as the hostel is an integral part of the college.
The student teacher ratio is 1:8 in SSSIHL. The faculties are undoubtedly the best in terms of knowledge and experience one can ever come across. They treat us like their own children and this I beleive help us to open up ourselves .
The syllabus is designed in such a way that it helps us in preparing for the CSIR-NET/JRF exam. The laboratory facilities are really good. One can grow physically, mentally and spiritually in this place. This I can say with guarantee.
Dislikes
We were not allowed mobile phones. For a whole semester till we come.home for vacation we were not allowed to keep any electronic gadgets with us. This is both good and bad. We had land phone facilities available anyway in each room.
To be Frank there is nothing I disliked about my college and this is not exaggeration at all. One has to visit this place atleast once to see for himself/ herself to be able to beleive what I said.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus was designed by very senior professors, Experienced scientists aiming to help students get a deeper understanding of the subject by clearing the basics in the first year and then dive deeper so that the students are ready to face the national level examination such as DBT-JRF, CSIR-NET/JRF, ICMR, TIFR etc. According to me in the first year itself interesting subjects of Biosciences can be included instead of those subjects which demand cramming.
I wanted to pursue my career in computer science and this course has its integrated MSC as well.
faculty to student ratio: it used to be 1:9.
Most of our lectures are doctorates and the rest are the ones who are doing their Ph.D. in our institute.
Regarding passing i think it is not that easy to pass when compared state boards.
The quality education along with life values and spiritual discipline that one needs in life is provided. This is not found in quality, elsewhere. The course is designed and planned very well throughout the semester. Each paper is dealt with in-depth. The majors that one chooses in the final year helps students to explore more projects and open-ended experiments
The university maintains a 1:40 teacher to student ratio. Each student is individually monitored and guided by professors. The university makes sure to hire teachers only with good teaching experience and with a Ph.D. Their explanation and concept delivery are at par with excellence.
The term exams are conducted on time. The midterm exams start around 1½ months after the beginning of sem. Along with the theoretical exams, one has to also pass in practicals. There is no grace marking in any case. One cannot expect important questions and related priorities in the paper. The only time to time preparation and a strong grip on concepts help.
Placements are offered by a catalyst program managed by Alumini of SSSIHL for the outgoing PG students .
They are trained and guided for the interviews.
Companies like HDFC, Godrej properties, and Deloitte are the ones in which our seniors have been placed !
I chose this course as it was most suitable for my needs and interests.
The teacher-student ratio is healthy and the teachers are there for every student whenever you need them as many of them stay at the hostel.
The teachers are amazing and very creative in their methods of teaching. Instead of just lecturing they employ various techniques such as short skits, etc to teach concepts that a student will never forget.
There are 2-CIEs, 1-Mitldterm, and 1-Endsem each semester in terms of exams conducted, and if you study there is no chance of failing.
This course gives us a complete picture of biosciences which helps me in my future research.
The student-teacher ratio is 8:1 which is very rare in Indian universities
About 69% of teachers have done Ph.D.
Exams are pretty tough and require intense preparations for passing in them
I had chosen this course because I liked commerce. The student-teacher ratio does not matter because the class itself is very small hence it is really helpful for one-to-one interaction and engaging class sessions. Most of the teachers are very dedicated and hardworking and will definitely come to your help if you seek it. At this university, everything works on time. End semester exams are conducted in the month of October and April respectively during usual times. Exams are not very difficult.
No campus placements are offered. Companies are not allowed to come to campuses and hire.
But, students easily get placed in good companies with good pay, because of their English and their knowledge which is above average than any other Non-Tier 1 College.
