Remarks
You can apply to the college online just by paying a nominal application fee of Rs.100. Generally(Coronaless situatyaion) you need to to go to the main university for writing the entrance test and have to appear for the personal interview within next 2-3 days if you clear the entrance test. You need at least a 60% score in English and 50% overall to apply to the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen this course because I liked commerce. The student-teacher ratio does not matter because the class itself is very small hence it is really helpful for one-to-one interaction and engaging class sessions. Most of the teachers are very dedicated and hardworking and will definitely come to your help if you seek it. At this university, everything works on time. End semester exams are conducted in the month of October and April respectively during usual times. Exams are not very difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university provides education absolutely for free. Students are required to pay only their hostel fees. You can rent textbooks from the library at a very nominal rate and can return them at the end of the semester.
Campus Life
Many things at the university are managed by the students only. There are self-reliance departments for different work whose members are responsible for works related to that domain.No of books in the library are a little scarce but manageable. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers. There will be tons of sports and cultural events taking place to keep you busy most of the time of your stay.
Hostel Facilities
There are two types of rooms- big and small. In the bigger rooms, there will be 11 students and in the smaller ones, there will be 8. Students are required to sleep on the cots and would not be provided any beds. Breakfasts are tasty and healthy but lunch and dinner can be a little dull but the food is very healthy.
Interview Experience
There will be an entrance test that will make you eligible to appear for the personal interview round. Questions are of moderate difficulty level and question pattern is like CAT. The interview will be conducted to test your subject knowledge and awareness about the Sathya Sai culture and also to assess your personality. Please wear whites if you want to have a good impression.
