- If you use all the sources given by the university you will be at your best placement.
- There is beach just a 5 min walk away which is very beautiful
Dislikes
- Lack of hospitality with the management, they are very rude with the students.
- In some blocks lifts won't be available,it difficult to shift classes and during summer you can't imagine the wet

- College Atmosphere. Encourages students to attend the college regularly
- Classroom infrastructure and ambiance. There are few temples which makes the college peaceful

- Constant changes in academic curriculum which makes it hard to cope up
- Few unexperienced faculty which makes the students to loose interest in that particular subject
Placement Experience:
Placements in Gitam are good compared to few other colleges in Vizag. Students with less CGPA or Less Skills compare to the top students are getting places in someother company and getting trained there and working.

Companies that visits college for placements vary depending on the college and the industry demand . Some common companies that visit colleges for placements include IT firms , consulting banks , and other corporate organizations. In our college, more companies are hiring for this year batch and we are happy for that .

- Hostel food is better than other hostels out thier
- Classrooms look very much good I liked it

- Teaching faculty I didn't like at all, too much pressure
- Hostel rooms are too small very conjusting,they fit 2 people in a very small room

Placement chances are very much low in the college last year among 1500 students only 50 got selected and got job others had to go out of the college and try jobs by their own and in this competitive world finding good jobs is very much difficult

- I really liked the environment at the University
- I liked the classes and the opportunitues there

- Behaviour of other branch students, though not all of them
- Things are a bit slow, could speed up things there
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are many opportunities in the field i have choosen. I took this course upon my interest. We are given many placement opportunities and the seniors are very supportive and helpful to us. If there is any query you can approach the faculty or your seniors.
Likes
- Good quality in campus and outside the campus, Very nice Hostel food with cleanliness and different types of food items
- Currently the infrastructure was great compared to many universities by seeing the classrooms, Hostel rooms, Campus bulidings
Dislikes
- Could improve on Fee structure so that middle class people can afford the seats easily and which helps many students to achieve their dreams
- Teaching is quite ok but they really need to hire experienced or new generation teacher to make them understand better
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are trained for Campus requirements and from 1st semester every student is trained on the soft skills and character development. Over 3500 are placed in various companies and the highest package is around 45lpa many companies like Accenture, LG, Cognizant, Amazon, Dell, HCL, ICICI Bank, Infosys Nearly 75-70% of students are Placed in Campus and remaining students are going to abroad for higher studies I would like to join in a government sector job as of my interest

- 1st thing i liked in Gitam college is Personal Mentoring knowing about problems and solving them and helping students.
- Then I like VDC means Venture discovery Center where students can able to get the knowledge about entrepreneurship.
Dislikes
- About subjects and Knowledge Everything is fine but hostel and food is not up to the expectations.
Placement Experience:
As we are suffering in recession there is less companies to give offers for students. In Gitam they are trying there best to get the companies. Also they are trying to get sales or business role jobs to give an opportunity for every student to get a job.
Likes
- Environment of the college is good which the students like more. They can study in these type of environment
- Freedom given in college is so good. compared to the other colleges this college gives more freedom and is liberal with the students
Dislikes
- They don't give appropriate ground for the sports. Like the ground is vast but the facilities and ground maintenance is what which gives the negative feedback for the sports.
Placement Experience:
The Placements in College are depends on how the students performance. If the student is well prepared he is returning to his home with decent amount of package.If No Campus Placement is offered then I will go to masters and study more.

- Campus was beautiful and big and also maintained neatly.
- Campus Life is good and also you can get good friends.
Dislikes
- Placements were not that good when compared to the fees.
- The food in the canteens were very expensive.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course was very interesting and also this course is a mixture of both hardware and software. The students were of 60 in number. The faculty to student ratio was 1:2. The faculty were moderately qualified whose education background belonged to MTECH and PHD. The teaching was quite satisfactory. The exams were always conducted on time.

- I like the environment of the college and the amenities in this college is good.
- The faculties, teaching skills is good and they will encourge student ideas.
Dislikes
- The fees payment process is very long and slow has to be improved.
- The hostel food is somewhat good it has to be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm very much interested in electronics and communication. the major thing why I chose the course is because we can get jobs in both software and hardware fields. the faculty and student ratio is very good and there is one metorship also. The faculty have good professional degrees like Ph.D., mtech etc. The teaching style of the faculty is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING hoping to get a better placement. Faculty are good enough to solve the problem of the students. A certain number of students are separately handled by mentors who will always be there to solve all the doubts regarding every problem on campus. Every five months will be semester exams and quite good. Maintaining good attendance will surely give good grades.
