Teacher are good, labs are better , bus facility is good.
There is a policy of tfw scheme for meritorious students who score good mark in both jee and academics .other scholarships are also encouraged like emedhabruti.
About placement variety company are coming . courses like m.tech, b.tech, bsc are available. there are so many streams in every department. a very big library with wide range of books of every domain.classes are good ,clean .

Dislikes

The placement scenario for our branch is very bad; very few companies visited during our session.
The hostel facilities of this college is not so good , the food we get here is the worst that every 3 days in a week we need to go for restaurant and dhabas.
Financial and scholarship are only provided to the bonafied students by the state government, there are no institutional scholarship available.

Nist -college for life

Likes

Campus environment is very clean and very satisfying with fresh air .The different classroom have a very good vibe .The Teachers are always supportive and helps to increase your skills .They also provide internships for better placement

Dislikes

The timing of the clg is very complex.Like from morning 7 to evening 5 .it's mean to spend the whole day in the college and it's feel a very hectic day .After coming to home from college we are feeling very tired and unable to do our other activities

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester you are eligible for the placement.various company like TCS ,ho ,Hitachi, Accenture are coming to our college for placement.highest pakegge is 20 lakh and lowest is 7 lakh per annum.50 percent of students getting placed. My plan is to became a entrepreneur but in there tech is very important so i have complete my degree first and then getting a job with distance mba then starting my own start up and when it becomes a brand then I will set there to grow my business

Life at NIST UNIVERSITY, berhampur

Likes

The campus is well developed and infrastructure is quiet great. have a frindly climate to adopt the situation
You also get many opportunities to explore the campus life in extra curricular activities by joining clubs and developing extra skill
The faculties are very experience and the way of teaching is helpful.

Dislikes

The classroom should be provided with air conditioned atleast during summer
The campus should be cleaned regularly to avoid unwanted smell

Keeping a keen interest in learning computers though not being from a computer background I had always dreamt of working in IT Companies which influenced my decision to opt for this course. The laboratory systems help in featuring and clearing the problems through which learning becomes easy. The teaching method should opt for more application rather than theory classes. The exams are quiet modern and more implemented so that the creative level increases
