Middlesex University Rankings 2026: Overall and Subject-specific Trends

• Hardly 15 to 20% of people will be securing a full-time job after completing graduation because even to get a full-time job, it's better to source any reference.
• The average salary in my field, where anyone can easily cope, is somewhere around 45 to 50000 GBP per year
• Most of the students usually attend the job where it will happen frequently and most of them apply on career sites and linkedin and indeed.
• One of my friends got hired in amazon and another at Goldman Sachs, and I myself got hired at Sky uk Ltd where the steps are quite simple: we applied online and then gave a test and interview and final screening; they select and place you on probation for 6 months to 1 year depending on the company.
• The major companies that hire from my programme are Deloitte, Amazon, Ashtek IT, EY and KPMG

• Initially i got my accommodation from university but later on i shifted accommodation by using online platforms like Spareroom and Gumtree.
• In UK most of the houses will be fully furnished they will provide every thing including kitchen items bed crockery But then one of them will be semi-furnished; just provide kitchen equipment like a fridge, stove and hot water
• Most problem or challenge any student will face all the time is landlords wont be ready give the student a house even though they do part-time jobs; if not, they will ask any guarantor to sign the document on behalf of tenant who is uk citizen or a full-time worker in the UK.
• My accommodation is quite walkable, hardly 15 to 20 minutes and most of the Indian people stay in and around harrow wembly and hendon itself and few people will stay in Acton or Ealing Broadway.

• There are many opportunities available for full-time jobs in the market. Some of us had secured a job within 6 months but a student has 2 years after completing their study to find a job. Salary range depends upon the role you are applying for and your experience, if you have any. The recruitment process is a bit longer here than in India, as I appeared in 4 rounds to secure a job.

• I found accommodation from my personal network. Monthly rent was 400 without food and I was sharing a room with a friend. It included wifi and bills. A friend of mine had already found a room for me so it was not very difficult but I had looked on facebook before for rooms. My room was around 35-40 minutes away by bus from the university. I lived in an Indian area where there were a lot of Indian students living nearby.

•  Most of them got jobs even after or in corona pandemic period.

• The normal salary is 30k pounds but it is 20k-25k pounds in corona pandemic period.
  LinkedIn. Their were special classes inside university in your module that how to create your public profile on LinkedIn. Interview calls Messages are their to put in your linked profile by the companies who search your profile on LinkedIn and call you for interview in their offices.

• Many other online job portals are also present.

• Campus Recruitment teams are present inside universities.Please contact them in your university.
  major companies - So many companies(which i dont even heard of are present on linkedln).

• Campus recruitment is very less mostly .Please search or ask someone about this.Linkedln is the only job tool.
  Their are many multiple rounds online(video games round or aptitude or quiz on particular subject)before interview.
  Final Year Data Science Projects is asked in interview. Students has to submit the job offer letter inside University.
   

• I booked Ivy Hall through Abroad Education Consultants in Kanpur. They knew all the information of admission and Accommodation Halls.

• On Middlesex University website all the accommodation details of University Accommodation Halls is given.

• I paid 7385 pounds in installments from 16th Sep 2019 to 31st Aug 2020.

• Facilities:-

  (Kitchen, Sharing or Single Bathroom which you book, a single room , a bed with cushion, a study table (drawer) , a black moving chair , a normal table , a window or 2 windows , a cupboard (attached drawer inside it), )

• Inside Kitchen :-
  1. A fridge shelf rack(single one as guided by the volunteer) to keep your bread ,fruits and
  daily eating stuff which one brings from the market. For many students their are one
  kitchen.Space to keep bottles.
  2. Gas for cooking. Many gas cooking shelves are their.
  3. You can put in stoves to heat anything.

• Inside Bathroom :-
  -Bathroom has shower and toilets which are cleaned by staff. white tissue paper is their to clean.
  Attached washing machine inside the ivy accommodation hall (paid by app)for all students.

• What challenges did you encounter while finding or securing your accommodation?
  -I booked it from AEC.From airport a mdx ivy hall university bus came to take us to ivy hall.
  It is better if you find to stay in hindu locality or your friends/family location because it is cheaper and you will get veg food.Also part-time job quickly and lots of help.

• Based on your experience, do you have any recommendations for future students seeking accommodation?

  -Please search or write queries on facebook/quora...etc., which helps to communicate to indian localities and find people whom you are going to live with(especially Indians.),Through facebook/online whatsapp you can directly find rooms in locality.Numbers on fb groups where you can comment to others.Many students leave Accommodation halls in between to live with others or cheap places.

• How far is your accommodation from the college campus? Where do most of the Indian students stay?

  -NH4 is the highway connecting ivy hall and college.
  Please google search and download apps on your mobile to find bus/train routes.
  Oyster Cards are available in shops.(for bus and train).

  Near Wembley(Jain Mandir-Gujrati Area)
  Southhall(Punjabi Area)
   

Big companies, like Wamo, had also visited our university during placements. Some students really got great jobs with great pay. I do not know the median salary as I didn’t ask anyone personally but from what I heard, everyone was satisfied.

My overall experience at this University was really great. I am very grateful for everything that I was able to learn here. The syllabus for all the subjects was completely up-to-date which made us ahead of everyone else. The teachers were always motivated to teach new things that are happening in the university. The University supports the students financially as well. Overall- Yes, I would absolutely recommend this University in the UK!

Very much Less in Corona virus period but right now it is good. jobs. ac. uk is the website where you can apply for Phd Or Research. Linkedln is the website for placement in companies. Different websites are also there. Other consultancy website are also there Median Salary-30k pounds per year (was less in Corona virus period less than 20k pounds) .

Fabulous and Excellent. It was a wonderful experience as UK universities are completely different from all Indian universities in terms of quality or standards of education. Many different countries students come especially from Europe and Dubai (nearby ) countries to UK! Different cultures combine in UK as compared to USA and Canada.

Good number of opportunities but should be approached properly with the right mindset and proper CV format.

The university is supportive in having the resources, network and different areas of specialties available to aid individual learning and achievements. I feel very supported when faced with academical challenges. There are social activities, clubs and facilities to support physical, social and mental wellbeing as the university ensures the academic journey is successfully achieved.

There is no placement option for me, I'm going to have to look for jobs in this area but since I have two different areas combined in one course I have several options to look up to. Looking for jobs here is hard if you don't do your research well. In order to land a job you're going to have to keep looking from the time you get in order to shortlist your options.

I initially was confused between Criminology and Forensic Psychology, I found this university was the only one that taught a combination of both. So, it was the best option for me.

Good. Almost everyone from our batch got on campus job. We have a special placement cell there which takes care of all such affairs. The university is providing good opportunity for new entrepreneurs. From providing funds to setting up business including paper work, registration and marketing procurement. There are good opportunities for job if you excel your studies.

The university was well established with exact course that I wanted. Had all the facilities and I had good references. Secondly, it was in good area with good crowd. All necessary transportation like bust stop and tube station was very very nearby. Overall experience was amazing. The area of university had good accomodations too at affordable prices and food availability was a big plus point. Faculty was good and the approach was amazing from university part. Library is available to students for 24 hours and so is computer lab. We were allowed to carry out experiments in lab

I was offered a scholarship, which helped a lot to pay my fees. I also really liked the course curriculum and how practical the course was, compared to another uni, which focuses more on the theoretical part.

This course has to lead me into a good job opportunity. Having a level 6 degree making my CV good very appealing to schools and nurseries. The topic and modules the university has covered are very helpful within the job and I was able to develop it further.

Middlesex was the only university which accepted me, which I was delighted. I was also ready or wanted to move out of the home town. I want to go to something different, busy, crowded and where there are more job opportunities.
