What Students Say
Likes

- University provide Great Scholarships
- University Has great Library’s Like shepard And hendon library; And the Library is accessible 24 Hours
Dislikes
- Main thing I don’t say I didn’t like it but the timing classes gonna start at 2 or 4 in the evening and finish at 9 in evening.
- Because of the timing we can’t enjoy the Sports club event where have lot of sports clubs like cricket, football, tenis
- Lack of Indian food on campus you might face some difficulties
Course Curriculum
- In terms of course curriculum was mixed easy and hard there few subjects that were very hard and tough to cope with, but professors really helped to understand.
- The most Positive thing about the university is that it's multicultural, and professors are really helpful; they will give separate time apart from lectures to interact with you one on one and the 24/7 library facility is the best. AND THE COURSE duration is the best part wher i got proper time to explore the opportunities sheet compilation of my 1-year curriculum and 1-year industrial training these is the best parts.
- In terms of negative i can say middlesex university is more focused on practicals and assignments. Initially back home, people will suffer to cope up with the assignments and practical structure
- There are typically two classes in a day, which would be either start in afternoon and ends somewhere around 8 or 9 in the evening.
- The average number of the students in a class would be somewhere around 50 to 60 people max to max and in some of the sections It would be around 30 to 40 because the section is going to be mixed for two groups, something like data science or computer science if they merge the class, it would be around 40 to 50. If not, it is 30 to 40 max.
- So when I joined, the course, the most of the class is mainly from India and the strength is aroung 35 and least 18 people where Indians
Admission Experience
- Applied - De Montfort University, Middlesex University, Greenwich, University Of East London,
- Northumbria University.
- Confirmed Admission Letter - University Of East London, Northumbria University, Middlesex University, Greenwich University
- Rejection - Greenwich University
- Reason for the rejection – I believe everything was quite good in terms of My application and there might two reason one is statement of purpose gone wrong mainly and might due to my ielts score because i Didn’t submitted ielts score instead submitted my 10 + 2 english score
-
The main thing that influenced me to choose the university of Middlesex is.
- Location, which is in London
- Course Duration which is 24 month
- Had a great Scholarship Opportunities
- Very Easy to Commute
- Admission Process is quite easy

- Experience
- The overalladmission Ecosystem was quite smooth and easy. It was very easy to join Middlesex university and get graduated from there. Insult i was so stressed in terms of how my uk life will be and how I will face the hardships there does any one will help or how will the professors be but everything was changed in the span of hours after I landed in uk and went to university. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Mainly my professors, who guided me in every step to make myself proud, made me successfully get gestured from there
- I applied for the 2019 September intake; quite a few things made me apply for a master's. The first thing i thought to have an international exposure.
- 2nd compared finances with other countries and chose UK
- The admission price qas somewhere around 3 months from the date i applied till the end to get visa because in 30 days will get admission but need to show funds in account for 45 days
Faculty
- The faculty-to-student ratio is around. For example, in the class we have around 35 students. It would be one professor and one teaching assistant, or if the strength is around 42 to 50 then one professor and two teaching assistants.
- In terms of the teaching methodology, middlesex university really holds a good position where most of the teaching is practical-based, where you used to have one-on-one sessions with a professor, and he will personally guide you on how to execute the codes or how to perform the certain task in the lab and most of the time there won’t be any exams. It will be mostly assignment-based, and they are going to ask you to perform the assignment once again, once you have submitted the assignment, in terms of giving any suggestions or anything like that.
- Basically, the middlesex university itself, profide the student to find the full-time job and part-time jobs in and around the campus or outside the campus, most of the students inside the campus to do the part-time jobs and it will push the students to participate in the unihelp or student reps some designated post inside the university which will really help out the student and the visa duration will be also increased as you placed as a treasury or student secretary, student union president, something like that in the University.
- So I really admire one of my professors who deals with cyber security and penetration, Ralph Mosley, who really helped me to clear my dissertation when I failed in the first step, he really used to help day by day by taking reviews for me and giving me feed back he used to personally guide me in hard time im really thankful for him.

Part Time Jobs
- Most TA will picked by professors by seeing there academic percentage, and there is DA on Middlesex University research assistance is also the same; while doing the master's itself, they will pick for Raa
- The pay range for TA is 16 GBP per hour and RA pay range is a stipend of around 28000 GBP per year
- There are a lot of on-campus jobs like restaurants helpers and Student union representatives and sports reps and things like that.
- The maximum hours allowed to work is 20 hrs a week.
- Securing part-time is not that easy; there is lot of competition
- Students typically get around 13 GBP per hour and in terms of securing a part-time job, it is really hard to find because there is a lot of competition and demand so need work really hard to get a part time it is better to have a reference to secure a part-time job. I always subject myself to applying online in indeed amd physically visiting the stores with a CV and talking with manger it will be really helpful and just give the interview confidently and let them know that you will work hard.
Placement
- Hardly 15 to 20% of people will be securing a full-time job after completing graduation because even to get a full-time job, it's better to source any reference.
- The average salary in my field, where anyone can easily cope, is somewhere around 45 to 50000 GBP per year
- Most of the students usually attend the job where it will happen frequently and most of them apply on career sites and linkedin and indeed.
- One of my friends got hired in amazon and another at Goldman Sachs, and I myself got hired at Sky uk Ltd where the steps are quite simple: we applied online and then gave a test and interview and final screening; they select and place you on probation for 6 months to 1 year depending on the company.
- The major companies that hire from my programme are Deloitte, Amazon, Ashtek IT, EY and KPMG
Accommodation
- Initially i got my accommodation from university but later on i shifted accommodation by using online platforms like Spareroom and Gumtree.
- In UK most of the houses will be fully furnished they will provide every thing including kitchen items bed crockery But then one of them will be semi-furnished; just provide kitchen equipment like a fridge, stove and hot water
- Most problem or challenge any student will face all the time is landlords wont be ready give the student a house even though they do part-time jobs; if not, they will ask any guarantor to sign the document on behalf of tenant who is uk citizen or a full-time worker in the UK.
- My accommodation is quite walkable, hardly 15 to 20 minutes and most of the Indian people stay in and around harrow wembly and hendon itself and few people will stay in Acton or Ealing Broadway.
Exams
- IELTS AND PTE OR 10th and 12th English score need to 65 % and above
- Documents Required are the 10th, 12th, and graduation statement of purpose, 2 LORs from professors and the contact details and if we don’t job job relieving letter and pay slips.
- There will be 2 interviews conducted by the university; one will be pre-cas interview and the other a cas interview
- Pre cas interview will also done the university where indian team from university will conduct it and get all the feed back they suggest is there a charge to do the interview
- Then Cas institutes where someone from uk will host and ask the questions regarding the university and course – why these universities and why these courses – and check the english fluency. Cas's interview is main part that will influence the admission

- The eligibility criteria are that you need to have 70% and above in undergraduate
- You need to ask for the scholarship in ore cas interview and cas interview to gain it
