- The university is in central London, location is easily accessible.
- Fee is affordable and less comparable to other's Uni. However, the difference is not significant but still less fee.
- During my term campus was flooded with Asian students but still it was diverse and had a chance to interact with real international students.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is really old and needs an upgrade.
- Career support is minimal, and no training and internships are available.
- The counselling team provide support but it's really insignificant.
Overview
My reasons were to go for the cheapest options as I wanted to sponsor my education on my own. Overall was good, I learned a lot and made some awesome friends. To be honest I was an average student with not much corporate Industry experience, getting a UK visa was easier for me as it's an English-speaking country with lots of opportunities and easier to get access for friends and family. Talking about the extracurricular opportunities there are a lot of options available to go for outings and do sporting events which I really enjoy exploring.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, students are warm, responsive and interactive, infra is a bit old especially the buildings are really really old. The university doesn't organise much by itself but if you have an interest in activities you can approach cultural and people head they will definitely encourage your enthusiasm and arrange a gathering or event in response.

- I chose this university on main points like; Excellent website information about each and every course and course design for entire academic year Chat option with student ambassadors for the course so new comers could ask all the beginning questions Open information on previous successful placements and the student information Latest infrastructure with lots of lab / computing equipment Personal space for students who are working for group projects or working alone Long library hours (10am to 9pm) Online recorded classes and online appointments for ease of learning Lending laptops free of cost for students who can't afford laptops. Lots of fun activities and events Accepts only 50-60 students per year As a food science graduate its worth every penny studying at London metropolitan University. For those who are science based, there's excellent science Center for only LABS University is located right in front of tube station
- Course design, resources like computer and laptops. Lab equipment. Film making equipment (high end) studios etc. Polite lecturers. Polite student reps. Time to time change in course structure. Cheap printing cost
Dislikes
- I don't like the fact that it's in London. London is expensive to live ;) I don't have any more complaints May be the tuition fee is a bit high compared to others
Overview
Excellent experience with education. I recommend all my friends this university all the time.
Campus Life
There's another campus for sports, but the Holloway campus doesn't have any sports. We had an indoor cafe "the Rocket" Where drinks and alcohol are served but reasonably. We even had a big screening for the First Oscar award winner movie, RRR, hosted by the film and media department. We had rallies occasionally. We're proud to mention that the current London Mayor Mr. Sadiq Khan was once a London met student. We have communities for Indian students and LGBTQ, etc. We have student Union and union rep elections every year.

- As a student pursuing the Master's program in Food Science at London Metropolitan University, I have to say it is indeed a very satisfying experience. Our labs, comprising a wide array of workstations, feature state-of-the art equipment from industry partners such as Fisher et al. The lab is also frequented by researchers and industry academics for grant-related research and other scientific investigations. My course leader, Mr. Ghadduusi, is a veteran in the industry with considerable expertise in dairy spanning 20 years, now consulting for the UK Food Standards Agency. A gentleman, who is very affable, constantly motivating me to achieve the extraordinary. The classes and overall vibe is very positive, with colleagues from very different backgrounds and cultures, truly a beacon for multiculturism. Most of our faculty are very renowned, especially Mr. Abdi, principal head of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, nutritionist. My only downside with the university is the lack of co-curricular activities and high fees, so to speak. All in all, a solid 4/5.
- In my research for the best life-sciences university, I found London Met to the the perfect choice owing to its very highly experienced lab and faculty, very affable, always with an endearing smile. The lecture sessions are always full of energy , with excellent engagement from all students, always asking questions, which gets rectifies almost immediately. 4/5
Dislikes
- Lack of student clubs and other fraternities. There is no proper leadership in student programs and other cultural events. Also, sometimes the catering is also not upto expectations.
Overview
Overall, it's an amazing place to be. To engage in meaningful experiences with highly renowned faculty, a powerful network full of opportunities and a lab that is frequented primarily for cutting-edge innovation. I, as a student, aim to be proactive in guided learning, listening to feedback, all with the purpose of achieving tremendous personal growth.
Campus Life
Our labs, comprising a wide array of workstations, feature state-of-the art equipment from industry partners such as Fisher et al. The lab is also frequented by researchers and industry academics for grant-related research and other scientific investigations. The overall vibe is very positive, albeit for some minor drawbacks. Drawbacks such as the lack of a proper student club, more so of a random dull occasion.
