Course Curriculum

- My course was about the latest updates on accounting (IFRS, Environmental accounting, and carbon tax). Additionally, it included an introduction to SQL, Python & RPA.
- We got a chance to work as a team as well as individually on various assignments & projects related to the topics mentioned in point 1.
- We had around 2 classes per day, each lasting roughly 1.5 hr.
- We were 35 students. Now, this increased to over 60.

- I chose this university for its history & for the fact that there is quality education.
- Degree: Required 70%, my score 85%
- IELTS: Required Overall 6.5; my score overall 7.5
- Professional Qualification: Required ACA/CPA/ACCA; my qualification CA & CPA
Faculty

- The faculty was good & they were kind enough to take any questions from the students even after the class to explain in detail & with patience.
Campus Life

- Not sure about the exact number, but there are clubs for every sport (cricket, football, tennis, badminton, rowing, and whatnot). The campus was extraordinary. This is the best campus in Ireland.
Part Time Jobs
- Students will earn the basic pay per hour as required by the Irish Government. This rate changes every year. Now it is 13.75 EUR per hour. Apply via Indeed or walk in to every store. 20 hours per week. On-campus jobs are extremely difficult to secure. To my knowledge, no one secured a place in our batch.
Placement

- Around 70% got employed within 6 months. (this is reducing due to external market factors)
- Around 50k-60k euros per annum.
- Most of the students found the jobs via LinkedIn.
Accommodation
Off Campus

- The best method to find accommodation in Ireland is via WhatsApp groups, facebook groups or DAFT. ie. The monthly rental is not easy to define, as it depends on the location & type of the room. If a student wants a single room in Galway, it would cost around 600-700 EUR per month.
- If the same single room is needed in Dublin, then it might cost around 800-900 EUR per month. The sharing room cost would be less by around 100-125 EUR per month.

Fees
- My fee was 11,500 EUR per annum. This has increased to over 12k EUR now (not sure).
