- The staff was super helpful, both in academics and non academics related problems
- The college absolutely supports mental health wellbeing and conducts different events and sessions for the awareness, which helps a lot of students to de-stress themselves, especially in exam seasons.
- There is a separate unit for student career help, which is solely dedicated to students wanting to up-skill their CVs, getting interview ready or even for a little career-doubted sessions.

- Due to the large campus, students often feel overwhelmed to make genuine connections in the first year, so one needs to put a little extra effort to get in the circle, after that it’s all fun !
- Since the staff is huge and distributed so in the initial days, students finds it difficult to get connected with the right mentor for a specific problem but it gets better over time.
- Since the city the college is in might affect the campus life, in Liverpool the weather is not trust for, there might be days with strong winds and heavy rains that often lead for delayed trains sometimes which affects the campus life, especially for the students who are not residing in the same city.
- My accommodations were by one of my friends who was living there so he was a huge help. And there are tonnes of properties or rooms to rent from Facebook; there are a lot of groups made just for these things. Around £400 was my monthly rent. And the facilities included bills.
- While finding my own property or accommodation, the challenge I faced the most was viewing them. It takes a lot of effort to view the properties and we need to check each and everything if it is aligning with our needs because changing accommodation can be a hassle every time. Sometimes the owners would also not negotiate the rent amount so you need to be really careful about how to do that.
- When looking for accommodation, look out for a place that is near to the train station because you might want to travel frequently for your part-time job or for your campus. It is often recommended that you form a group first from your university assembly. Students are looking for accommodation and then I believe you all will find better accommodation together.

- Strong student communities from diverse backgrounds.
- Great campus facilities with 24 hours access to state of the art library.
- Good support services and career studio for getting job opportunities.
Dislikes
- Weather can be very unpredictable where it is sunny for sometime and starts to run after sometime.
- Limited on campus student accommodation for post graduate students as it is prioritised for undergraduate students.
- There is some issue with understanding the professors accents and phrases in the start.
- I found my accommodation through amber platform which the UK’s recommended student accommodation provider, which helps in getting student accommodation nearby to the university. There are several other platforms as well which offer student accommodation nearby to the university.
- The monthly rent for my accommodation is 430 pounds and it includes all bills and basic facilities in the room.
- The challenges I faced with the accommodation were to find the one which is near to the university and also the one which is within a good budget.
- Try to find accommodation which is near to the university and also to the city centre to get the advantage of going anywhere and finding part-time jobs nearby.
- My accommodation is like a 12-minute walk from the university and as my university is the University of Liverpool, there is an accommodation called Prospect Point which is very famous for Indians.

- University of Liverpool (UoL) is part of Russel Group
- Many activities and communities like Guild encourages student engagement and collaboration.
- UoL offers good scholarships and I have received 2 scholarships of a total of £5000 worth.

- Professors were not experts in certain modules and do not encourage us to think out of the box or do complicated projects and strictly ask us to stay within the taught items and basics.
- To a course like this where the entry requirement tells that the student should already have an undergraduate in computer science specifically is also designed for students from basic psychology departments and so the course structure is made very basic without less application or AI level hands-on. Even for dissertation they do not allow us to think of a more complex models as the supervisors are from English background or politics.
- This course has to set an idea initially that it is theoretical and you won’t get proper hand on.
- I stayed with my husband and so I didn’t use University accommodations. We found it using open rent or Zoopla apps.
- £650 per month excluding utility and electricity bills. Double bedroom, Open kitchen, One Bathroom not attached to bedroom. It was an apartment in Kensington area in Liverpool.
- Basically, most of the houses prefer residents of UK to international ones. The owners accept offers from them more than they do for us. This completely depends on the owners and their perspectives and the bond they define for that property.

- Welcoming people and teachers

- University was isolated place sometimes.
- Expensive fees as compared to other Uni
- Sometimes lack of support from instructors
- I opted for off-campus, which was around 0.6 miles from the university. I found my accommodation through the online portal SpareRoom.
- My monthly rent was £300 pcm, which included a gym facility and a study room.
- While searching, it was quite stressful as every accommodation was getting sold out. So I would suggest booking accommodation really prior to 6 months before your course to get a good deal on rooms. I would say book your accommodation really early. My accommodation was quite walkable for 10-15 mins.

- Fees is a bit expensive for 1 year.
- Weather can be harsh in Liverpool sometimes.
- Uni gym is big but its too crowded in uni timings.
- Finding accommodation can be tough; initially I would advice student to check websites such as Amber Student, Right Move etc and opt for 8 months stay and when you finally understand everything over there and make friends, rent a house with our friends. Don't trust people from Facebook and WhatsApp groups; they can be spam.
