Campus Life

There are 2 festivals held annually in the college, Tesseract(The technical fest) and Flare(The cultural fest). Tesseract is a 3 day event held in the odd semester in October that involves various activities from different science and tech clubs and it is concluded with an EDM night. Flare is also a 3 day event held in the even semester in March commencing with different activities by the social and cultural clubs and ends with an Artist Performance on the last Day (Previous performers include KK, Gajendra Varma,Sachet Parampara). The laboratories are well equipped and contain almost everything that you need. There is also a high end Apple Lab consisting solely of M1 iMacs and there are a few Mac Studios ss well. The library is well stocked and there are 3 of them throughout the campus. Each catering to different domains (Engineering,Liberal Studies, Management). The Sports facilities are also pretty good with a 400m track , Football Field , Basketball court , Tennis Court , Kabaddi Ground. The student run clubs are also a great way to network and get more out of your college experience.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:25. Faculties are pretty chill and approachable. There are generally 2 written exams per semester. One Mid Semester and One End Semester exam. The Mid Semester exam is of 25 marks and contributes to 25% of the marks of a subject. The End Semester exam is of 100 marks and contributes to 50% of the weightage. The remaining 25% of the marks are a component of the Internal Assessment and include quizes, assignments and projects. The exams are moderately difficult and easy if you study regularly but it is still possible to clear them by pulling an all nighter, although I wouldn't recommend it. The course curriculum as I said before is pretty similar to other tier 3 colleges but there have been recent updates to make it more relevant to current industry trends. Faculty Members are also pretty mixed with some demanding discipline and order while others being more liberal and understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview

I applied to a few repeated collages and got confirmation from one of them I choose these college because of affordable fees good infrastructure and supportive faculty I couldn't get into one college due to high cut off and tough interview admission here is merit based with 10 + 2 eligibility and the process was smooth.

Faculty

The faculty members are qualified and supportive teachers or approachable and maintain a good relationship with students I like Swetha VN Mam and Deepa mam for their clear explanation , exams including internals and semester exams , moderate and difficulty in curriculum is made easier ..

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who got into the college with the government quota will be paying 1,18,000 per year it may be high for the management quota students. All the fees related to lab, admission etc will be included in this. Students the good cut -off marks will be provided with merti scholarship by the management and also they can apply for community scholarships also.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum at KPRIET as highly relevant and comprehensive. The exams are conducted regularly with proper spacing throughout the semester. The difficulty level is moderate, encouraging conceptual understanding .

Course Curriculum Overview

i would rate the curriculum 3.5 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The cirriculum includes strong foundational subjects as Data Structures, OOP, DBMS, Operating Systems, and core matghematics, which influenced my decision to choose this course the structured credit system, lab components, and elective options also provide fexibility to explore specific inerests like AI, data analytics or cloud computing.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined VIT-AP through Andhra Pradesh EAPCET merit program. Based on rank, students are allotted seats in colleges. The state govt pays the college fees, which was 75,000 in 2022 and is about 1,05,000 in 2026 VITEEE is the main entry for most students. Through this route, the starting fee ranges from 2,00,000 to 5,00,000 based on rank category. Hostel fees vary based on room type and mess options.

Course Curriculum Overview

ffcs is one of the best and the woorst part of the vit ap curriculum it all depends on the website fastness which rarely works we have A,B,C,D,E,F,G 1 and 2 slots for each 1 is the morning slots and 2 is the afternoons slots for each alphabet the curriculum is quite effiicient and prepares well for the inerviews and aptitude rounds for on campus jobs STS provides aptitude for all aptitude rounds ,to be more precise the aptitude taught is more difficult than the asked aptitude questions in job hunt improvement is required where the codes are kind of mugged up and they dont really teach real life applications and students are just told to learn it and write in the exam 2 mids, every mid conducted in the span of 1 month and sem is conducted after 1 month od 2nd mid the overall difficulty is moderate and grades are obtained based on the faculty and follows relative grading

Faculty

there is a good faculty to student ratio around 1:50 the faculties mostly are so friendly and quite reachable ,they tend to help students who are interested in the subject and want to learn more the best faculty for me until the semesters i have completed will be mr vishnu,mr nagaraju they both are so supportive and are always ready to help students and dont discrmiminate students based on their knowledge on the subject my worst faculty was mr venkataraajam marka,mr prakash mr venkataraajam dont usually come to classses and always blame students for getting low marks which is not justified mr prakash doesnt know how to teach and just mumbles to himself but i can assure he does know alot of subject but just lack at expressing it there are 2 mids and 1 sem per each semester and mostly the mids are quite moderate and most scoring part of the whole system

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum 7.5 to 8 out of 10 in terms of relevance. One major reason to choose this course was the inclusion of industry oriented subjects, updated specializations(like , Health Informatics , AI-ML, Cloud etc.) and the Fully Flexible Credit System

Internships Opportunities

my college provides good intership opportunities through collaborations with various companies. students get exposure to real world projects and practical learning. these interships help in developing skills, gaining experience and improving career prospects

Faculty

At L.J Institute of Computer Applications under L.J. University under L.J University the Faculty-to-student ration in MCA is approximately 1:25 to 1:30, which allows proper interaction and doubt-solving. The Faculty-student relationship is friendly and supportive. most professors are approchable even outside lecture hours and guide students in academics, projects and career decisions. I Personally liked faculties who teach core technical subjects because they focus on practical implementation along with theory and provide real-life examples, making concepts easier to understand. Some professors are especially good at mentoring during presentaions and project work. I did not have major issues with any faculty, but a few subjects sometimes feel more theory-oriented and could include more practical exposure. Regarding exams, there are internal exams(mid-semester tests, assignments, practical exams) and ens-semester university exams conducted twice a year. The failure rate

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the MCA course curriculum at L.J Institute of Computer Applications under L.J University around 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum includes core subjects like Data Structures,Database Management Systems
