Experience of Beautiful college Life

No Entrance exam criteria was there,it was direct entrance or admission on 12th standard percentage. Also I have searched many college for this course,but what I found out good in this college was there infrastructure and faculties were too good and up the mark of my requirements.

It was the AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)course ,which was around 2.5yrs of theoritical training plus 6months practical(kingfisher airlines) training. After and during this we need to clear papers of parenting authority DGCA and this lead us to become a aircraft engineer which maintain the aircraft in airworthy condition as per DGCA Norms.

It was my life time experienced in one of the major airline in the country during those days with very high level training Kingfisher Airlines Pvt Ltd at Bangalore Base. And there was stipend was paid to us during those 6months.

After the completion of my training in Kingfisher Airlines, I was recruited by them (KFA)in 2008. Actually there was no direct placement was from college because before placements we have to complete our OJT to get our Certificate of Course completion, so in our cases most of the companies recruit us after 6 months training,we were around 22were there in training in kfa and 5 of us got selected for job.

Our college used to celebrate the sports week ,annual day,independence day etc types of events.Two times I had performed in dance during annual day and was also there in my class volleyball team.

Our fees during those days was pretty high and it was tough for some us to manage this fees. I have taken the education loan to serve the fees of my college.I have taken the AME course whose total fee was 182000 INR and we used to pay this fee after each year,hosts rent was separate around 3000 INR per month.

No, actually in ou college there was no such option available during that time, so on my personal level my dad availed me a education loan including my hostel rent on his own. We faced many difficulties for get this loan.

Gender ratio was 10:2 men to women ,pretty low as its mechanical branch,there was no tolerance or anything bad with politics,sometimes there was clashing between north and south indians.

Exams were pretty good,with all preparation given by college to us. There was a workshop in our college to do practical classes.Our college exam pattern was only objective types and no essay type.

Faculties of our college were very experienced and skilled ,most of them from airforce retired and some of them from Ex-Aircraft Engineera worked with commercial airlines.
