New faculty should be taken based on research they do, rather than considering their locality. Apart from it, NITW gives u the best experience of Btech. And you can enjoy yourself along with studying there. Hope you enjoy your college life.

There will be a fixed curriculum for the academic year and which will be available on our institute website. You can refer to it. The exam structure would be like semester-based, 2 semesters for each academic year

Pretty decent placements though. The average package of circuit branches would be around 10-11 LPA. For non-circuit branches, it would be around 6-6.5lpa. Our college won't provide internships but we can do projects under the faculty of our interest.

Annual technical fest, technozion(second biggest in south India). Annual cultural fest, spring spree. Annual sports fest, ayodhan(started 2years back) and many more seminars and conferences and also club events like literary debating club events.

SC/ST students are fee exempted. And fee structure for BTech is based on a family income basis. So fee won't be an expensive thing as those who get enough income are only asked to pay the fee. As far as MTech and Ph.D. are concerned anyway they will get stipends

Based on jee ranks, there will be a scholarship from the central government. And based on cgpa of the previous academic year, the top 5 students of that branch were given scholarships every year. As part of that, there will be alumni scholarships that will be awarded based on our excellence in various departments.

Labs are pretty decent with sophisticated equipment. And for research-oriented students college will fund them with money for doing projects. Extracircullars activities are needed to improve a bit but for sports, pretty decent grounds are available.

Everyone would help you to motivate and guide you through the hurdles in your college life or in your placements. There is a separate alumni body in our college, through which you can approach them for career guidance or startup ideas.

Through jee main entrance exam. I got qualified in it. Then there would be common counseling for all nits, in which there would be 4 rounds. In that counseling, I got a mechanical branch in this college.

Most of the faculty are nice. Senior faculty are the best. But new faculty need to improve a lot, in their teaching style or in the way to interact with students. It would be nice for students if teachers are more practical-oriented.
