Remarks
Positive remarks is that the campus of our college was very good and the library facilities were very good they also have very good transportation facilities, college canteens were good overall the college is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose civil engineering and the course was fairly easy but the practical knowledge that we used to get from the course was very little that's the area i thought it would have been done better.The course was a 4 year duration course and it consists of 8 semesters.Each semester has 6 writing subjects and 2 practical subjects.
Placement Experience
When it came to placement most of the companies coming to our college campus were either for computer science branch or for electronics and communications branch and for mechanical engineering also there were only few companies used to come but for civil engineering branch we didn't got any placement from any companies.
College Events
The events that were celebrated when we entered first year was very less but when we entered second year our principal was changed and from then we used to have annual day,gymkhana, car and bike shows,project expo,kannada balaga,welcome party for freshers and farewell function for passing students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the government allocated seats were around rs35000 per year and the college used to charge around rs12000 per year extra for donation. It was quite expensive but there were many schemes for scholarships because of that it was quite feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
As i was a reserved category student i got seat under government quota i used to get the scholarship of around rs40000.But other than reserved category students there were loan facilities available.From college side there were no scholarships.
Campus Life
When it comes to extracurricular activities our college used to conduct many fests,labs facilities were there for all the branches of the college.we had sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton all were conducted twice a year.
Alumni/Alumna
The college invites an alumni meet every year but unfortunately i didn't get any call from the college. I have heard from our seniors that they get call from college.Most of the alumni they invite are government job holders.
Admission
I wrote a Common entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka state government known as CET.I wrote the exam in the year 2012 and cleared the exam and got admission based on the cutoff ranking the college had.The admission process was simple they check all the documents and proof of our ranking and we have to pay the government allocated fees that's it.
Faculty
The faculty particularly of our branch were very good at teaching and their knowledge was very vast they were supportive at each and every problems we had.overall faculty were very good.Faculties of other branch were also good.
