Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed chemical engineering because during PU chemistry was my favourite subject and chemistry lecture influenced me little bit towards chemical engineering. The curriculum preparation was good but not to the level to face the real industry. Exposure towards industry need to be improved and The number of industrial visits need to be increased . The frequency of exams were pretty good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yealy Fees - 80000/- For OBC category the tution fee - 15000/- For SC,ST category the tution fee - 500/- For SNQ quota overall fee - 500/- I paid 80000/- yealy for 4 years to complete BE in stream Chemical. SSP scholarship is available for all category students .
Campus Life
The fests and events which use happen every year are - Invento, Kannada habba, Dandiya night and many more. The library was" survival medicine" for our exams,where we use to get each and every book. Sports and extracurricular activities were treat to watch and fun in campus.
Hostel Facilities
Three sharing room with attach washroom. Daily rooms nand washroom used to be cleaned by helps. The food was okay. Breakfast was pretty good, while lunch and were decent. Registration happens with addmission process.
Admission
I applied for the colleges which has chemical branch and In first round of allotment i got KLE college. No,I have not received any rejection from any colleges. The eligibility criteria and cutoff depends on the ranking which you get through KCET Exam.
Faculty
The ratio was 1:4. The faculty to students relationship were pretty good and very helpful. The one of the best mentor we had is Dr. Umesh sir. Every sem we use to have 3 IA's, weekly two lab sessions.Then final internal and external written and lab exams
Night Life
Their are three Cafeterias which are the HEART of the college. Campus timing was usually 9 to 6 were as hostel timing was restricted to 8 pm. Stadium,udapi canteen, amurta chai ,Apple garden were u find many most of the people.
