Course Curriculum Overview

It's pretty good. Total three subjects. Each one having a total of six papers. First year we had no practical exams. From second year we started to do practical classes. We have to complete total 400 marks of each subjects after three years.

College Events

College freshers, college annual functions , college sports events etc. These things are great. Everyone who is interested enjoyed a lot. And beside this there are other events like tree plantation

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible and not expensive and there are special cases where feed are taken care of if you are from a poor family. It's nice. Totally helpful. They helped a lot completing our syllabuses. nice teaching equipments with extraordinary approach. We enjoyed everything. Practical classes were nice also. Teachers helped us a lot.

Admission

I have to show my 12 th result and they made e merit list. In a given I had to go for an assembly. I went there. I had to submit the admission fee of the following year. They Started taking classes after a month

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
