KMEA Engineering College

There is good infrastructure provided. Students have to explore it. There will be support from the college if we want to implement something. You also have freedom to raise voice if anything found inacceptable.

KMEA Engineering College is affiliated by KTU University(as of now). Course curriculum is based on KTU course structure. 4 year course with 8 semesters and 8 university exams. For each semester, there will be two internal exams

Last year, some industry whales like Wipro and TCS hired from our college. There is a department for placement assistance. We have to do our internships out side the college. Placement cell will help to find a good one

There was cultural events as well as technical events. Every year we celebrated College day, onam celebration and other cultural events. There will technical fest every year. There we can explore and showcase technical knowledges and skills.

Feasible. There was fee wavier for financially backward students. And also for reserved communities. But its was bit expensive for seats in management and NRI quota and also for students for general category

I have availed Merit cum Means scholarship offered by govt. Also college provides CH Muhammad Koya scholarship for selected students. There was no fee for sc/st students since their full amount will be covered in govt. scholarships

There is lab for each departments with all equipments provided. Also, there is an incubation centre for students to implement their ideas. And now college provides space for startups also. There is a football /cricket ground and a badminton indoor court in the college. And college conduct tournaments for all every year

There is mens hostel 1km away from the campus. Travelling facility will be there for morning and evening and also for noon time for lunch. Meals will be provided three times a day and also tea and snacks in the evening. Hostel food was not tasty always.

College arranges grand alumni meet every year. It helps alumnus to help each other in their career. As well as its a motivation for current students. There is a web portal and a community for alumni.

Admission for merit seats will be based on rank list of KEAM entrance exam. I got merit seat purely based on rank list of all Kerala entrance exam(KEAM). There is management as well as NRI seats are also available

Faculties are skilled and always ready to help. They are always friendly. Professors follow a well structured schedule to cover all the topics in syllabus. Lab assistants are also helpful for solving our problems.
