It's good college to get job in placements. Only issues are with the system of fdfs sometimes we won't get even minimum credits as many students will be looking to it and if we can't get minimum credits it will be little heavy in 3rd year
Course Curriculum Overview
For freshers now they r changing the pattern of internals. Like 10 papers for each subject in the sem for internals and but now it is like 2 small exams of 50 marks called CAT and quiz ,assignments etc.60% of mark is from internal and final exam is called FAT which is of 100 marks for everyone ,which will be converted to 40% of mark.
Placement Experience
I haven't had a placement yet has I am not final year. But placements and training is good in vit. And students choose this college because of placements in vit. There are many placement opportunities we get from vit
College Events
There are 2 events. One is gravitas and other is riveira. Gravitas is like for 3 Days which is a small technical and learning event. U can learn many things which helps u in future. Riveira is the biggest event in our college which is for 4 days and it includes many cultural and traditional events and celebrities will come for the riveira to inaugurate and there will be many small shops to have food. If u are a hosteller u can't go home when this 2 events are there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive but we are getting that facilities as well. We can earn 1000 if he/she have full attendence and more if they have 9 above CGPA. For me 1 year is 45k.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship offered in vit.for every stream they conduct many scholarships and u can join ,it is not compulsory.
Campus Life
We have to do atleast 2 University elective. There will be plenty of courses which is more than 500. We can learn anything. U can register for sports, computer society,of u can learn languages like hindi, Tamil, Chinese, french, Spanish etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. Deprnds on the block we get. There is a and non AC blocks. One of the demerit of hostels are sometimes we can get 3 bedroom for 4 members and they will adjust to 4 beds in 3 bedroom
Admission
I got shortlisted and I came to the college for admission. And there was more than 1200+ students for admission for UG courses like bsc cs, BCA, bsc multimedia animation, b.com, BBA. And selection procedure was on our 12th marks
Faculty
For me some faculties are good and some are not good because if we argue them ,they will play with the attendence and internals and we might get debarred for the exam. The faculty are not upto the mark ,but some are very good.
