Remarks

Colleges are good with good colleagues and some good faculty with some bad. But just one thing college should always be clean and hygienic as some of them are not so it is very good to get the college clean to avoid any diseases.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good. As for the competition now a days rising this course demand is also rising. And for students I also refer this course. We have exams annually that is we just have to give exam once per year.

Placement Experience

As my college was not regular so it did provide us the placements and jobs or any kind of internship. But the regular one's provide the best internship and that is why everyone wants to be a part of Delhi University.

College Events

In the university we celebrated every festival and there are big events like diwali and holi where College celebration has to be watched. Then in the college also invite big superstars, singers etc where the atmosphere is very cool.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the university is under government so it is not that much expensive. It can be feasible for almost everyone. And that is the good thing about Delhi University that everyone can afford to take admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

As for the scholarship criteria, delhi University is the best for that as far as I know. They provide scholarship to the best performers of the college and it is very good. And as per my knowledge it is a nice idea.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like stage shows, fashion show, Ramp walk, etc happens in the college which is very good. Then we have college level cricket matches in which our college also take participation also.

Hostel Facilities

In delhi University there are hostel provided by the colleges. In private colleges, they provide the hostels and they are very expensive as 1 to 1.5 lakhs per year which cannot be affordable by everyone.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we can communicate our seniors for any kind of helps and some of them are very helpful. They provide us the notes and the best type of solutions for the queries. And it is the best thing in the college.

Admission

Went to the college but they told us that for has to be filled online. So I have filled the form online and paid the fees and got the admission then we have to go to the college for the books and for the I-card of the college.

Faculty

As Delhi University is a government college there employees or we can say faculty are also good but it depends on college to college. Some college have good faculty some has not so it depends on the colleges.

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
