A overall review of my college

University of technology, VSSUT Burla because it is one of the top government engineering colleges in Odisha with a strong academic reputation and affordable fee structure. I also applied to other colleges like silicon Institute of technology technology, but I preferred SSUT for its better placement record, experience, faculty and alumni network. The environment here is more research and project oriented which helps in overall technical growth, admission process is through OJE counselling based on JEE Mains cut-off varies every year, depending on the category branch with (CSE) electrical. Being the most competitive the entire process is transparent and conducted online didn't face any issue during admission as the document verification. Especially there are two good engineering college in Odisha are Vssut & Outr but I choose Vssut over Outr because core branches placements are good, campus is larger, hostel is available for all students etc....Read More

i choose this college over the another college because it is the government college and it is number one old state government college of our state odisha.i am studying here with good amount of scholarship so it is less burdening to my parents. this college provide good placement ratio than another college from our state....Read More

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More

Actually i applied this vssut,burla as my first priority because this is the top and number one engineering state government college in odisha as compared to another collage i applied for and also this college is famous for mechanical engineering as i also applied .So i wanted to get admission to this college and finally the admission also confirmed and i am very happy. No i can not get rejection from other collage as this is the no one state government college where i here. Another college i applied are poor in placement and those are not good in their campous curriculum as i heard so my college is best. The admission process of our college is at first we took perticipated in the ojee counselling process where we gave 5000/- then after the selection happened to this collage this college noticed intimation letter to very one and noticed us to pay the admission fee online. Then after we paid the money they notied us for offline document veryfication and we came to collage for document veryfication .After the document verification days after some day like after one week we came to collage with our bedding and they allotted us hostel....Read More

Basically I have applied for CET,Bhubaneswar for CSE and NIT rourkela for core branches but unfortunately I didn't made that because of my JEE mains rank.So with my JEE Mains rank i got selected into VSSUT,Burla which is a good college though. It is the first engineering colledge of Odisha and it has goog placement records also.Basically for CSE and IT if you secured like 90K in Jee mains then you are eligible for the course but you can get into this colledge by OJEE also for Lateral Entry Admission....Read More
