Remarks

The positive thing is management will respect the every students interests and support their faculties. And take care the students life like their own son and daughter. There's nothing in negative side.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the courses/departments having individual laboratorys and trained faculties. Exams having three phase. One is pre internal exam which is conducted by college. second and third phase is internal exam, University semester exams respectively which is conducted by Anna University

Placement Experience

This is one of the best institute to get a job in reputation companies. And also providing internship to higher level/tier level companies. Every student trained by their own skills and interests. And also providing training as per company expectations.

College Events

Every year they conducting industry connect for college students and also other college students will participate on the event. Industry connect is nothing but top skilled speakers will share the knowledges. and also they conducting spark, tech trend and talents day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is comes to under Anna University fee structure for government quota students. And also fee will different for management quota students. Fee is reasonable not high or less. Accommodation and transport fee will differ based on their interest and as per law

Every government scholarships will applicable in this college. Other than that They providing scholarships/offers for higher marks/percentage in their schooling marks. And also having different categories which is like below. 1. Full tuition fee is free 2. 50% tuition fee free

Campus Life

The major/most good things is college labs. College having Centralized AC labs and high configured system in lab. And also providing labs for technology specific. Other than IT labs its Having mechanical, civil, Electricals and electronics labs also. When we come as sports it's Good. I hope we will see the improvements in sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Every alumni students will meet the students at least once per year. College management organized the alumni meet at every year. Every alumni share their industry knowledges and motivate the students and will continues the teacher and students relationship in healthy manner

Admission

I got admission through Anna University council at government quota. For management admission, directly visit college get admission and choose your skilled department. College management will ask original schooling certificates for verification. And you should provide your photo copies

Faculty

Every department having excellent and trained teaching faculties and non teaching faculties. Other than department faculties college having separate faculties and trainers for take care of students extra curricular activities and individuals skills.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Likes

System and the Rules followed in this college
Hierarchy system such as committe heads, cadet captains etc
Infrastructure mainly the football and cricket turf

Dislikes

Punishments, because you will get punished when one of your batchmate did anything wrong
Compared to other colleges himt is not celebrating that much for festivals
Regular musters, You will have to attend minimum 3 muster a day

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Staffs are so good they know how educate us

Not really anything I'm not sure may be they are strict just to make us learn well

The exams timing are only based on the government m .g.r university the staff prepare us in a very good way for the real world the staff always makes us to practice a lot to make the things to do easier

This college has a good faculty to educate the students.
Interactive class will be available for students.
Lot of programs will be held related to medical field.

Dislikes

This college doesn't has a free wifi connection
Hostel food is average in taste. Regular time table will be followed.
Not that much of infrastructure in this college

This college will provide the placement to students. This college will tie up with lot of pharma college. And they select the students based on their academic and practical knowledge and taken them by interview. Special instructions will be given related to placements.

Remarks:

I got this college through Mci. The campus was beautiful also after asking to the students over there I got to know that the whole course will be in English so no issue of language in teaching and also the teachers are friendly and supporting and there is no ragging in the campus.

Life in sri eshwar

I applied through TNEA process and i was not planning at first to join this college. I prefered Rajalakshmi institute of technology, Sri krishna engineering and so on. I filled the choice list on the basis of my preference with sri eshwar on top because i thought i cant opt for better one later. This course which i selected was my 6th choice , so i didnt opt for upward movement and immediately joined here. I prefered rajalakshmi because it is in chennai and the placements are comparitively good. Same for sri krishna. The admission process is simple, we need be selected either by TNEA or management catogery , submit our original documents and pay the fees including transport or hostel fees. THis college was been choosed on seeing the you tube channel . The person personally increased the weight of the college. My mom choose this by his influence. He said about the placements. Further many people joined in the basis of same my thought. As coimbatire is located near to my hometown , this is another reason. THis college is located at the end of coimbatore on reaching to pollachi. THis is literally one of the most disappointing. It hardly taks o long to reach. Nice college With good placements

In my POV I preferred studies and the placements which are quite good in this college comparing others. Also, the average salary is above the other college's average package.
