IIIT Gwalior review

Positive :- India's first IIIT Institute of national importance by MHRD. Only college in India to provide BTech+MBA course Negative :- location of college is not that much great, if it was in any metropolitan city then IIIT Gwalior would be there in India's top 10 IT institutes.

The course curriculum here at IIIT gwalior is pretty good and stress free, first of all you'll only subjects related to IT, no subjects like chemical, engineering drawing, thermodynamics will never be taught.

Placement are very good at IIITM gwalior, this year many students got PPO from internship, yes college provides internships too. Regarding the placement this year college average placement was 11 LPA and highest on campus was 42 LPA.

There are various fests hosted in college like Aurora - cultural fest, one can participate in various cultural events and enjoy the vibe in this time. Infotsav - techno-managerial fest, various technical competition are held in this. Urja - Intra IIITM sports fest, one can showcase sports talent in front of college students and faculty. Twaran - Inter IIIT sports fest, you'll compete other IIITs of India and it's a national level sports fest.

Mess and hostel fees is 22000 for 6 months and around 70000 is the tuition fees for 6 months, apart from that 5000 is the institute and other miscellaneous fees. Fees is submitted per semester, only at the time of admission some extra amount has to be paid of around 20000 as the admission fees.

Yes college provide scholarship for the top 10 students of every batch, they will be exempted to pay tuition fees. Loan facility is also provided by the bank of India of college branch. Any student can opt for loan facility.

College has sports complex with world class features, 8 badminton court, 8 table tennis table, squash, pool table, gym, basketball and volleyball courts and football and cricket ground. Labs are equipped with high speed system and a variety of activities are organised in every field regularly.

College has 4 hostel in total, 3 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel, each hostel is equipped all basic facilities and mess is too separate for each hostel, each room is equipped with high speed LAN, every students is provided single occupancy room. Sports facilities and academic infrastructure is also pretty good.

Senior of the college are the most helpful persons of the college, they are available at every step to help their juniors in any field. They help them in academic, sports and other cultural activities too. Yes, college doesn't have a good alumni network but then also alumni help students a lot to get placed in top IT companies around the world.

A student to get admission in IIIT gwalior has to qualify JEE main and should obtain a good rank after that counselling process of jossa will began and through admission is given. JEE is now organised twice a year by NTA

Regarding the faculty, IIIT Gwalior has all the faculty member who have done PhD. College has faculty members who've done research in the field of IT and other trending sectors too. The best thing is that college has both faculty for technical as well as management courses.
