Entrance Preview

CET (indraprastha university), i got a rank of 8500 in the entrance test. I choose because i want to be a good mechanical engineer and MAIT is the best college for mechanical engineering in Delhi that's why i choose MAIT.

Internships Opportunities

My internship experience was very good don't worry many of the companies came on the campus for internship purpose like l&t. MAIT has more than 60+ companies which visit it's campus every year. MAIT has a 100% placement record with many students having multiple campus placements. Organisations like Infosys, Accenture, Adobe, ZS Associates and many other top names visit the college campus for their placement drives.

Placement Experience

It has good placements records. Almost 80% of the students are placed on campus. It is a general saying that if you are CSE or IT student you are bound to get placed. Infosys and Accenture are the major recruiters with average package of 3.5 lacs per annum. At the onset of 5th semester there is a microsoft internship program is conducted.

College Events

Many of the events are celebrated. IP fest is one of them in which many of the singers came out and Sung for us. This fest is very big approx 90%students of the college are present at that time. And Techsurge and Mridanga are festivals celebrated at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) on a large scale during the month of February.

Fees is 1.10 lacs per annum.

Alumini network is very good. Senior students of the college are very helpful whenever i want some help regarding my studies they are always present for help me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course cirriculum of MAIT a 8/10 as cirriculum is desgined by GGSIPU and its is well balanced with theroytical and practical knowlegde for the students. every semester you have 5 practical subject and 5 theory stubject and 1 additional subject for growth as person in corporate work. the syllabus is fairly good as thats not difficult if you pay attention in class you can score good grade in the semester. each semester usually has interal exam and then external exam which held in other colleges of GGSIPU. overall, the cirriculum is good, relevant, and career oriented.

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
