Remarks

I would love to recommend this University but yah go for a backup college cause here uncertainty is high and cutt off marks are unexpected it was190 in 15-16 150 in 2017,210+ in 18-19. Also agriculture is an subject in demand so maths bio and agriculture student all appear in entrance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Courses are UGC approved which includes 2 semester in a year. Their are 8 semester in total in 4 year of course. The practical knowledge is given too which is held in bhu agriculture land as most essential part in ag. The students group are allocated group of lands in which they have to grow their crops.

Placement Experience

4

The placement is 85 to 90 percent although most of the time students go for higher studies and it is also advised by our teachers and seniors. The package is moderate and some time goes upto 9lpa to 10lpa.

College Events

5

The cultures fest is celebrated each year while many other events also take place although the yearly fest is best celebrated in medical and engineering field we as a bachelor of science students don't usually have a party at renowned level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very cheap and affordable its its less than 2500 for bsc ag(excluding hostel fee and mess fee) Also scholarships is available here so due to this you get more fee return than you paid. The paid seat is available here which cost 35,000 it's little costly but since the college is very much popular their are thousands who are even satisfied in paid seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i already told scholarships is available here. It is provided by both up government and university Government scholarships includes approximately every student while university scholarships are some other scholarships are available which is given to meritorious students of the University.

Campus Life

5

The university hold a large Central Library which had approximately every book you would need. Many students don't buy books here and use burrowed from library. Sports is too available here but most of the active players dont prefer here due to boundance of attendance percentage.the players are unable to get large amount of practice time while going to a different place for tournaments also require leaves from university.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, since I'm a Benarasi I don't need a hostel also since my house just is 8-9km far from university i had not any chance of getting hostel facilities as here it is based upon distance of university from home of students after marks.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are absolutely helpful although interactions are less if you don't have an earlier contact. The political interference is negligible here and so unnecessary interference isn't a big problem.

Admission

First I cleard Bhu Bsc AGENCY /RGSC. Its one of the most toughest entrance exam cause approx 75000 student appear in it and only 120 get selected. Then i got the counseling letter through email. Logged in bhu website submited documents and at the day of counseling appeared at bhu with documents which was checked and my admissions was done.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members of BHU is great the professors who teaches us are very renowned in their field. They explain us in easiest way possible.Altough most of them are strict but are always available to solve your doubt. If you want to do phd here always get in touch with professors it's helps a lot.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
