A small college in a small village

The college is actually situated in a rural place in Kuttanadu of Alappuzha district of Kerala.The college lacks basic infrastructure such as labs good ground etc. But the faculties here are good and they can help with the studies.

The college curriculum is not so good as it does not concentrate more on the practical sessions. It mostly concentrate on theory papers.Which must be changed in order to give good practical education to the students.

The placements and job opportunities are great as the college is directly controlled by Cochin University of Science and Technology Kerala. Many companies will be coming to the college for placements. The College does provide internship from many companies.The companies select the candidates by their own criteria

The events celebrated in the college includes ,fresher's day welcome for the newly joined students,and as the college has students from all over the country we celebrate most of the festivals on the country like onam, Diwali, saraswathy pooja Christmas etc

The fees is actually of two kinds the fees is feasible for the students who got admission in State merit and the fees are expensive for those who get admissions in All India Merit (which is almost double the fee than State Merit).

The college doesn't provide any scholarship for the students directly.But scholarships offered by the State government and Central government can be availed to the students if they are eligible.and loan facilities are provided by the banks

The extracurricular activities are not so good at the college.The labs in the college is not so good and most of the equipments are not working in the labs.And some of the important labs are missing in the college campus. the sports section is a good and is being good but the infrastructure is not so good.

The alumni network is not so active in the college as they do not di much activities in the college. Some of the senior students are having good relationship with the junior students and they help the students in every way they can do.

Selection is based on rank of CUSAT CAT Examination.The one with the higher rank is selected by allotment process and the remaining seats are filled by conducting spot admissions which will allow the officials to select good students.

The faculties of the college is good.Most of them are highly qualified. Most of them have completed PhD research and they are good at teaching. The facilities are happy to guide the students through out the course.
