Remarks

I didn't get anything wrong so much about the college. Sol under Du is working excellent. Du reputation in case of placements is very good. Du is known for its working environment, it's students helping nature.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very good course curriculum. All the subjects are included in the course year wise. There the exams are annually basis where you have to give around 8-9 exams for 3 each year. There is no semester system.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very rare in this college for graduation students. Also we cannot blaim SOL for placements for graduation students as the degree is open not from regular course, but it provides placements also

College Events

5

Cultural activities goes in the college through out the year. I think DU is best for the events in all it's colleges. There you would get fresher meet and cultural events also. Student's also participate in sports events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of di is absolutely low. In case of SOL, du per year is Max around 4200-4300. It means fees is feasible for all the weaker section students. The whole graduation course gets completed within 15000rs only.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship available for any kind of students whether they are from poor background or there are excellent in studies. There is no scholarship as the fees itself is very low. I think students can afford that.

Campus Life

3.5

Sports events goes on. Also the college has stadium in front of college. Stadium looks excellent for sports with all amenities. DU is always famous for it's extracurricular activities, sports. It also has lab.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't opted for hostel. My home is within the range of 50km from college. So I was not eligible for hostel. My friends who had opted for hostel says that food there is very good and also good infrastructure also.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very supportive. In case of any query they are always ready to help and support. In case of admission we can see senior as volunteers to help their upcoming juniors of college. It's good.

Admission

Online though SOL WEBSITE. Just upload your documents and pay fees online and it's all done. After that you need to just visit Sol for books collection by showing them payment receipt of fees. The admission procedure is just very simple.

Faculty

4

Students are offered classes for open college also, which makes me surprised initially. But the facilities we're okk. They attend the lecture timely. So it's good to see live lectures from open College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I would give 4 stars for the course as I think various improvements can be made... The course should be made more practical and also more practical knowledge should be given rather theoretical knowledge. Digital learning should be given more focus and yeah frequency and timings are good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.
