Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course which I pursued is best , there are so much of opportunities for a mathematics honours student, you can easily crack maths related questions in govt exams or any competitive exam, a maths student is consistent and know that the practice is key, you can pursue your career as data scientist, machine learning engineer and many more, as i opt computer science as my GE , that will help me and open the career options in CS department so.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee i paid in my 1st year for admission, it was 27000, for 2nd year it was 30000, for 3rd year i paid 33000 and I'm sure in 4th year it will be around 36000 for sure. Additionally, we have to pay every semester for examination fee, around 1400-1700 and if you fail to pay at time, late fee charged around 250-500. Talking about categories other than general, like OBC, SC, ST, Muslims etc etc, the fee is same for all the categories. About scholarships, there's a yearly scholarship for the students on merit base, who score more than 9 cgpa, they'll get the scholarship and other than that, there's a scholarship , dell aspire scholarship to hansraj College only in Delhi University, provided to around 30 students from each new admission batch every year, mostly students they select from mathematics department and economics department, they provide yearly fee, a laptop from dell, accommodation payment every month around 10000, provide mentorship, intership opportunities, placement opportunities and many more. Other than these, I guess there are scholarships which are to be provided by DELHI UNIVERSITY itself to the students and are certain eligibility criteria for the same.

Campus Life

5

My campus life is quite good as, there are 60+ societies in hansraj, evryone should join atleast 1 society in their college life. I joined nishtha: the civil services society as an editorial wing member in my 1st year and then in 2nd year in WDC and ritva society as an editorial & content writing wing member, and in my 3rd year i got the senior core position AS senior advisor in WDC, PR and marketing head + general secretary in GEC and Editorial head in SPIC MACAY society. It was so good to join these , best decision as These societies help to improve the personality of an individual and make friends for lifetime, to explore with . The yearly festival of hansraj is confluence it is held for 3 days every year. The sport's festival runs for days in hansraj and known as khelo hansraj, where students play games and win or lose, all the games are intra college games held between students from different departments.

Admission

My 1st preference was mathematics honours and hansraj College, which i got after cuet in 2023, that's the best thing happened in 2023, I don't have any problem, any regret for that, it's the best. My 2nd preference was bcom honours which is also good for those who want to continue their career in the corporate sectors. But what i wanted to do was mathematics honours, as i love it. Anyone can get the admission in hansraj after CUET exam, and score good as it wants around 760+ oit of 800 to get the best college or in north campus, especially for general category, as OBC, SC, ST, students get the admission easily with just 500+ marks in north campus or in the best colleges of Delhi University. Just work had and kill it, the cuet is the entrance for that

Faculty

5

The relationship between student and teacher in my college and classes is quite good as the teachers explain everything so beautifully, as a mathematics honours student, from my department, i like professor arvind yadav and professor jyoti bhola, they are sooo sooo sooo talented and they know how to tecah what to teach so easily, everyone loves them, and me too, of course :)

Night Life

5

If we talk about The nightlife of campus, i would say it's safe for all , the girls boys and everyone, the lights of the campus are well stabled, and the students do gym and read walk. The library of my college is also closes after 5 p.m. and in the exam season it changes and closes around 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. There's hostel for girls and for boy's it was but now this year it's in reconstruction state.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
