- The college is located too far from home and it nearly take 3 hours to travel and travel cost adds up a lot .
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for the BBA In DTU Is nice and up-to-date . One of the main reasons I chose this course was the way the curriculum is structured. It gives a good mix of theory and practical learning, which helped me feel confident that I would gain both knowledge and real skills. The subjects are well-planned and relevant, and the gradual progression from basics to advanced topics made the course feel approachable and valuable for my future. The curriculum helps build a strong foundation and improves problem-solving and analytical thinking, which are important for both real-world work and higher studies. Assignments and projects give some exposure to practical applications, while the theoretical concepts support further academic growth. With more industry-focused training and practical exposure, it could prepare students even better for real-life challenges. There are scopes to improvement also through projects ,lab work , Workshops etc.
Internships Opportunities
Students from USME get internship opportunities in areas like consulting, sustainability, analytics, operations, and management. These internships are offered by a mix of corporate firms, startups, NGOs, research organizations, and government-linked bodies. Many of these internships come with a stipend, which usually ranges from around ?8,000 to ?25,000 per month, depending on the role and organization. The roles offered during internships include business analyst intern, sustainability or ESG intern, market research intern, operations and strategy intern, project management intern, and policy research or urban development intern. These roles allow students to work closely with teams and gain practical exposure rather than just theoretical learning. During internships, students are generally assigned live projects. These projects may involve conducting market research, analyzing consumer or industry data, preparing sustainability or impact assessment reports, working on process improvement studies, supporting strategic planning, or assisting in policy and urban development research. Students are often required to collect data, analyze findings, prepare presentations, and submit detailed reports to their mentors.
Placement Experience
BBA students usually become eligible for campus placements in their final year, mainly during Semester V and VI. Before final placements, students also get opportunities for internships and training, which helps them understand the recruitment process and prepare better for final placements. A variety of companies from different sectors visit the campus for BBA placements, mainly from consulting, finance, marketing, and operations backgrounds. Well-known companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and other corporate firms have recruited BBA students in recent years. While the exact number of offers varies each year, a good number of eligible students receive placement opportunities through campus drives. The highest package has gone upto 17 lpa and the average package is 6-7 lpa It has around 60-80% students getting placed which is decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure keeps on increasing. At first year it is 1.17 lakh and at 2nd year it is 1.27lakh and at 3rd year 1.33 lakh and at 4th year it is 1.33 lakh and tutikn fees is 62k ,67k ,70k ,70k for the following years respectively.
Campus Life
At DTU, campus life is really lively and there’s always something happening outside the classroom. The biggest annual festival is ‘PENUMBRA’, usually held in February–March. It’s a mix of music, dance, performances, competitions, and cultural events — almost everyone on campus participates. For the technical side, ‘ANUGOONJ’ is one of the main technical and cultural fests, typically organized around October–November, where students showcase innovation, tech projects, workshops, and competitions. These festivals help break up the academic routine and make college life more memorable The facilities of the college is nice but in Sports feild USME DTU is not Even allowed to participate in AIU and it is not acceptable as a athlete in USME DTU . Beyond sports, there are dance teams, music clubs, drama societies, debate groups, etc
Admission
I applied for DU for BBA and I got 2 seats in Motilal Nehru and deen Dayal Upadhyay college for English honours but I didn't wanted english honours. I Didn't got a rejected from other colleges The admission process of my college was offline which was pretty uncomfortable the eligibility criteria for the college is good marks in English and GAT In CUET and passed in 10th and 12th class CUET exam is accepted for my course.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration is 1:80 which . The faculty of the college is nice and approachable. I liked The economics faculty and her name is Ritika Chopra . Economics faculty is the best one I know because the way of teaching is nice and she teaches strategically and it's easy to understand. I didn't liked the math and management faculty . The math faculty rushes the syllabus too much and it becomes difficult to cover vast syllabus in such and short which hampers the understandability of the concept and the management faculty is the same as math faculty and the way is teaching is not nice.
Night Life
Our college doesn't have gym as it is too small and there is not night life in USME DTU BUT DTU main branch is nice and it has gym also which is nice. Cafeteria is pretty overpriced in both branches and I think it needs to be fixed . College get opened at 8 AM in the morning.
