The auditorium is very good and in fests it is well decorated
College is nearest to railway station so it's good for everyone

Dislikes

The og attendance criteria is so disliked by everyone
The labs is so dirty so I think is so bad
The bus service of the College is so bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is like that we have 2 midsems of 10 marks and at last it's joins to give us internals and in rgpv there are 70 marks exam and the checking of rgpv is not so good like you have to fill so many pages to pass the exam

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 141500 per year

Placement Experience

For placement there is limited option and so much crowd you have an highest package to 9LPA and it's not too bad it's all about the luck if you can get it it's about your skill if you have it you will crack it

Fees and Financial Aid

My detailed fee structure is 145000 years and I am in obc category but I didn't get any scholarship because of government job of my parents and my college fee is increasing year by year otherwise the fee of my batchmates is same except any reservation benefits

Campus Life

Overall all the college are same but you are having issue doing that 75% attendance so you can go to other college and over that there are sac members who associate and represent the college there are fest of 3 days through which you can enjoy

Admission

I applied to Oriental because of my jee mains percentile because of it I didn't able to get the top college like LNCT I filled up the counselling through mp gov and because of it I got Oriental and if you have an option go for LNCT

Faculty

The faculty's of this college is so supportive like thy help us many times when we are in need but some of the faculty members are so rude like the assistant professors and non teaching staffs almost all passes the rgpv exams

Night Life

Night light is so good like there is Prabhatam outside the campus through which you can chill there and enjoy with your friends and you can buy your basic grocery out there and can there is iskon temple beside there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Core Subject Coverage Subjects like Data Structures, Operating Systems, DBMS, Mathematics, etc., provide a strong base. Structured Semester System The curriculum is well-organized across 8 semesters with gradual difficulties. Ensures standardized syllabus according to industry relevant. They take exam frequently.

Placement Experience:

Sunstone is planning placement for us as they promised a lest placement of 4lpa or more from the extra courses they are running and training is and also provides chances to sit in multiple interviews of companies. Companies like appzeto , even digit, Lancesoft many students git placement of 7lpa. After degree if I can get placement from sunstone sage I will get it or try to crack off campus placement.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

Placement Experience:

Placements at VIT Bhopal University start from the 7th semester company is like Tata Consultancy Services,Infosys and Wipro visit. Average package are 4-6 LPA with higher offers for top CSE students.Many also pursue higher studies or off Campus role.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.

Nice college

Remarks:

College have about 8500 student in the campus in different section of UG/PG COURSES no. Of boys bs girls are approximate equal. College start from 8 am and ends up at 2 pm with two breaks between them. Different sports are also carried out like swimming,horse riding, cricket,volleyball,football etc.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). Minimum Marks:45% aggregate in 12th Accepted Exams:JEE Main is the primary and most preferred exam. OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!

Admission are through 12th socre and entrance scores too matters. In 12th for General Category students 60% is mandatory and for OBC a minimum of 50% and for SC/ST students it's 50%. Post which as per the seats the cut-offs are announced and final admission happens....Read More

Oriental institute of science and technology review
