Interview Experience

4

For admission to Kakatiya University, typically there is no formal Group Discussion (GD), Interview, or Written Test process for Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses. Admission is based primarily on merit from Class 12 board exam marks, with general category cutoffs around 45%, and some specializations requiring around 80-85% marks. The admission procedure involves online application followed by document verification on campus, and selection is done through merit lists published by the university.Since the admission process is merit-based, there are no GD topics, interview questions, or test patterns to prepare for in BA admissions. Preparation is focused on performing well in the Class 12 examinations to meet the cutoff criteria. The university does not conduct additional selection rounds like GD or interviews for undergraduate arts programs.Other criteria for admission include eligibility of passing Class 12 with relevant subjects for BA courses and meeting the minimum qualifying marks. The admission process is straightforward, relying on academic performance rather than extra rounds. This makes preparation centered on academic excellence in Class 12 rather than specific additional rounds of evaluation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest the curriculum which we got to study was not at all relevant to the current real world demand of skills because there was only focus on the bookish knowledge rather than the real world challenges. We students only gained bookish knowledge and because of that we are facing so much of difficulty during graduation placements. The exams were held continuously making students so restless. Everything was good but only this.

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
