Course Curriculum Overview

3

CSE is considered top course in most colleges I guess that is the reason I took it but coding, I found it really cool. I would not say sticking to the curicculum prepares you for the real world as it is mostly theory based. I think the teaching should be more practical. There are no in-between exams during the semister obly mids and semisters.

Internships Opportunities

4

I don't have much idea about the companies which take internships and the stipend provieded but all the students who have done internships found them helpful and are were placed afyer the internship. Projects are done by students only in 4th year and professors usually clarify all the doubts of students during this time.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placements from third year. Many number of companies visited. The highest package on campius was of 8LPA. The average package is around 4LPA. Almost all the students get placed during placements but with a low salary. My plans after getting the degree is to do further studies so I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to be placed on campus. The companies visiting the campus are Infosys, Benefact, Digigeeks and lot more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying ?75,000 per semister. Admission fees and registration fees costed around ?3000. There was no development, lab fees. For semister exams they charge ?1200. I belong to OC category so my tution fees is 75k but with income certificate it is down to 30k and other category students BC,SC,ST have tution fee of 30k. The college provides full scholarship as it is a government college, you will need atleast 85% attendence to apply they even cover hostel fees. This is not applicable for students whose parents are government employees.

Campus Life

1

Rubyzest is the only fest conducted on campus and it is conducted in march. You can get a lot of books from the library and they let you lend 3 books at a time. But only study related books are in the library. The facilities in the classroom are not really good. Fans dont really work, and the college is placed in a public place where you can see people walking normally from the place you're sitting. Not many kinds of sport competitions are conducted on campus. There is no extracurricular activities nor any sports tought on campus. And no student run clubs,or anything can be seen on campus. This college is mostly for study and nothing much pyher than that.

Admission

I only applied for 2 colleges this and KITSW. I couldnot get into the other college due to my EAPCET marks. I would I say I did not study for the exam a little bit more hardwork would've gotten me into that college. The admission process for my college is simple. You fill an online form before actually going to register yourself in the college. Everyone within the state is eligible to enter this college but you can apply only through EAPCET. The cutoff for this college is above the rank of 1 lakh. The admission process is very easy you just have to bring the forms they ask you to and xerox copies of those. And pay the extra fee for admission.

Faculty

4

There are enough number of professors to teach the students. Mostly all the faculty members are approachable except few. I really like our maths sir because I think he teaches good and has a very funny and approachable personality. I really hate our mechanics sir as he sees students as humans only when they perform well. There are two mid exams the mids a student performed well is considered at the final grading. The exams are not very difficult, its mostly on the easier side. The course curriculum i would say is relevant to an extent. I think out of 66 students around 25 of them fail the semister exams.

Night Life

1

The college doesn't have any hostels. You have to search a hostel or room ti stay at. I'm a dayscholar so I don't stay around the campus after college hours. The college timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. . This college doesn't have any gym, cafeteria. Library is only for students. The famous hangout place is infront of the college where there is a huge tree with sitting place around it. The locality I would not consider it safe to roam around at night as the college is located inside the university and many people can be seen at any time of college.

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.
