Course Curriculum Overview
It is pretty relevant in terms of placement and internships. The curriculum is generally high rated for the computer science branch. The curriculum covers all the comprehensive parts for the interview aspects for the placements. Read your course CS.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come to higher students for internships in the beginning of the third year. Competition is pretty high for internships. Selection ratio is very less, but if you have a good CG and a good hold on DSA, your chances of bagging AN internship is good.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are good, but you really need to fight for it because the number of students inside the college is high, but if you work hard, you can get a pretty good placement companies come for internships in the third year and placements in the fourth year all the famous companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft et cetera, come to the college Highest package in 2024 was 1.2 CR percentage of students getting placed around 80%. I also plan to sit in the placements and get a good placement after the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is approx 2.5 lakhs per month. Hostel fees is different for different hostels ranging from 90k to 110 k(including mess fee). There is no electricity bill in hostels. There are different scholarships for underprivileged students of obc(ncl), sc/st category given by college in collab with some companies like dell etc. Based on your requirements you will be given waiver.
Campus Life
Our university have a large number of societies wearing from technical societies to cultural societies. Our college have mainly four councils that are: technical council, literature and film council, sports Council and cultural council. You can explore your interest through the societies whether be it a passion of dance or dream to become the best coder in the campus. Fest are held throughout the year by different societies. The duration of this fest may be from few hours to 3 days.
Admission
I opted for the computer science branch of The Delhi Technological University (DTU) because it is the best college after IIT Delhi in terms of ranking and academic excellence inside Delhi as I have Delhi Kota because I completed my 12th from Delhi.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio depends on the branch in computer science branch. The ratio is one is to 15. You can approach the faculty if you want, although the faculty and student interactions is limited, some of the faculties are really good while some can be really pain in the ass. I liked Garima chHIKARA mam. She teaches very good DSA and is really determined towards teaching. In first year, you have five subjects and from second year, you have six subjects sometimes the exams come from the pyq While the other times, you will not know where they came from. Study regular regularly, if you want mental peace during exams. course curriculum is updated.
Night Life
We have a very good nightlife in campus as we have a night canteen, which is good for night cravings. You can order online food throughout the night, but after 11 PM. You have to receive the order from main gate if you lives in boys hostel. Girls is closed after 11 and their online orders are delivered at the door of their hostel. The boys hostels are open throughout the night.
