MH-CET, I scored good enough to be a part of this college. It was carrying good placement history that made me choose this college for my future prospect.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was well structured with good mix of theory and practicals. Staff were with average experience of 5Yrs, that was a good bridge to fill generation gap in orthodox way of teaching and flexibility with todays fast paced youths.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship offered.

Placement Experience

Placement was good enough until we reached sixth semester. However due to recession very few companies turned out for placement in 2009. Moreover companies that turned out didn't carried a mass placement and just handpicked few candidates.

College Events

Most of technical and cultural fest were organised and managed by students. College was collectively supporting for good cause keeping students alive in college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was being offered to students enrolled under caste and to the students who came from backward class. Very limited scholarships were offered under sports quota and teacher/army parents reservation quota.

Just because there were too many festives celebrated, lot of competition like robotics, gaming etc was happening. College was quite diversed in terms of religion class, race, ethnicity etc.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. Well i got my name for RGIT list in the first cap round itself but i wanted a better college like spit so i tuned rgit as plan b. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More

This college is near my residence thus it eliminated the travelling issue also as I'm a sports enthusiast I opted this college over others.
