Course Curriculum Overview

2

Curriculum is not at all great and very very primitive. I chose this course honestly because I got it by cutoff. I wanted to do my engineering from a tier 1 college. This doesn't at all prepare you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits Areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods can be to make it more computer oriented and eradicate lab files Exams are held twice a semester only.

Placement Experience

4

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Nearly all big MNCs visit like Google amazon meta apple netflix JP Morgan Deloitte Highest goes around 1cr. Avg comes around 19 lpa. In cs branches the % is as high as 80% For ee/ep it's around 50/60% I plan for foreign masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees: 2,50,000 INR without mess/hostels. Tution fees is 2,50,000 INR inclusive of all the branchesd fees like lab fees/registration fees etc. For general category. Tuition Fee (per Annum) ?1,55,000 Other Fees (per Annum) ?81,700 Total ?2,36,700 This one is for past years

Campus Life

3

There's engifest in February Then yuvaan in January Sports fest in September Techfest in next year. range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is decent and good. facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are below par at best. Sports facilities are like only big in size. Great societies like aims/igts/kalakriti/round table/macs

Admission

I was applying for bits/ nits but this was overall the best option. I chose because the brand name and prestige is there and as I have earlier mentioned the pros of a tier1 college. I didn't go there only because I got accepted here. Clear jee mains with >97%ile for circuital branches And >99%ile for tech branches. Then apply for jac counselling. Admission experience is exhausting and stress causing.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is : 50:1 Faculties are presumably approachable, but not for me. I can't mention names. But one math and physics prof were great Same I can't mention names but EE faculties and cs faculties were average. Exams I can only comment after exam results declaration

Night Life

1

Inside the campus the sportscomplex is decent for walking and hangout. Rest all is closed Around the campus the location is shady and not safe. No night life as such. Sone gyms and cafes. No library . Public areas do exist but not recommended.

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

Hmm , the course structure designed by them is very accurate and they first teach that course and then make compulsory to attend lab of same course in coming semester, this ensures that whatever we have learnt , we can apply that in real life as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really very good, its updated and far better than even many renowned institutes. Along with your core CS subjects, there is also a minor stream which you'll have to select. The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.
