Likes

I really liked that the faculty know what they are teaching and are modern
The curriculum is the magnum opus of the NIAT and my perosonal resaon to join it
The hand's on experience with workshops , hackathons are the best in industry

Dislikes

Staff needs a bit experience regarding management issues
Sometimes Sundays are also working days, which are compensatory
Fees can be reduced but the facilities are good but for hostel it isn't so good

Course Curriculum Overview

.The curriculumn is modern tech aligned and is better than the oldies .It gives us modern insights on new generation ai and computer science .Could also use some resource material from the old books .Exams are moderately tough not so stressful and the main exams are conducted for every 2 months

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

From 5th semester of the full course or 1st semester of the third year placements can be availed and it is purely based on your skills and marks obtained however if you have participated in any other hackathons or any programs then you will have a cutting edge which is a good practice and good number of people good their placements and we got many companies tied up

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college we have 3lpa and total of 12 lakhs for the full course,I haven't applied for any scholarship yet , we don't have anhy differentiation / reservation by category so sometimes you also need to write it's own test

Campus Life

The campus life is ok but not that over whelming but the fest once held were good and it is very intrwsting when they come up with ideas like entrepreneurship day where the give some amount to invest and keep your stall and sell your products the classrooms are well equipped with screens led projectors ac rooms and good chairs which are good we also have student groups and nsgc etc sports club it is entertaining it's just aage aage dekho hota hai kya!

Admission

The main reason I chose the college was due to it's curriculumn alignment with today's technology and improvements made in AI especially,with the generative ai content,as the other colleges don't have this level of advancement in curriculumn basis so I chose this and also there is no differentialtion based on caste/creed/religion so it;s good

Faculty

.The faculty is very good, and is very friendly with us .Everyone is good and has their own pros and cons .The work experience is less but they are good .The exams are conducted once for every2 weeks .we have module quiz,assesments,daily quiz,practice sessions

Night Life

Nightlife is the Magnum Opus for us as we are in Hyderabad we have a lot of activities available at night too and no need to worry we have cafe's biryani point's near our place which are open till late night we have no strict rules for timings but sometimes we have restrictions not to go out after 10 pm

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

For the admission in this college you have to complete your intermediate or class 12. I have applied for the SRM chennai University apart from this and I got admission in that college to.
