Course Curriculum Overview

3

As I mentioned regarding the Botany subject, I chose Botany because I thought it would be useful after college. I come from a farming family, and the subjects taught in college are generally designed to be very relevant to practical life. However, I learned that colleges tend to focus more on theoretical knowledge and less on practical application. They should give equal importance to practical learning as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is my fee structure in my college Head/Item General Student Admission Fees (Per Semester) au 350 Tuition Fees 600 Cultural Tarang (One time in each academic session) 25 Total Part A 975 Library 200 Electricity Fees 200 Identity Card Fees 100 NSS Fees 50 Building Maintenance Fee 100 Medical Fees 100 Athletics Fund 100 Common Room Fund 50 Co-Curricular Fees 50 Environment protection fees 50 Subject welfare fees 30 Student Union 100 Society Subscription 50 Magazine Fund 50 Online Fees 100 Internal Exam Fees 100 Handbook Directory 50 Total Miscellaneous fees Part B 1480 Total Semester Fees Part A+B 2455 Note: Practical Subject Rs. 600 Extra for all students.

Campus Life

2

In our college, any kind of annual festival is celebrated by the students themselves unless it's officially organized by the college. For example, we recently celebrated Diwali in October. Our college library has many very old books, but there's a significant shortage of new, modern books. The existing books are mostly high-level texts used by the professors. If any sports or games are organized on the college grounds, we students do it ourselves; it's not organized by the college. We only get permission from the college, nothing more.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges, and even if I had, I wouldn't have chosen that college because it's too far from my home and expensive, and there are also problems studying there because there's a lot of fighting and conflict, for example, GD College. I like this college because there isn't much fighting or conflict here. I currently study at SBSS College, Begusarai, under LNMU University..

Faculty

3

In our college, the relationship between faculty members and students isn't very good because if a student complains about something, it's often ignored. Some faculty members are very good, but others are quite bad. For example, Professor Sanjay Bhagat is excellent because he pays attention to any complaints, but Professor Ruchi gets very angry even about minor complaints.

Interview Experience

4

I don't need Hindi. I didn't have to take any kind of exam or interview for admission. Admission is granted based on our 12th-grade results. It's a great thing that they don't conduct any entrance exam or interview. For this, we only have to fill out an online form. Then we have to select which college we want to get admission into, and then the admission is approved based on our 12th-grade results.

Night Life

2

There aren't any good places to hang out in or around our college campus, but you can go for a walk in some areas like the railway station, traffic circle, court road, or township. However, not everything is safe in these places, and some areas aren't safe at all. Basically, there are no places to hang out between the college and the surrounding areas, or even inside the college itself.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. Teaching methods can also become more interactive by using more discussions, presentations, and real-life examples instead of only slide-based lectures. Regarding the exam system, the course follows a semester-based pattern. There are usually: Internal assessments like quizzes and assignments during the semester One end-semester exam at the end of each semester Exams are conducted twice a year, at the end of each semester. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If a student studies regularly and understands the concepts, clearing the exams is not very difficult. The questions are most

After completing my graduation ,i plan to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental science from a prestigious institutes.
