Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), is a public university in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India. The university is accredited by the NAAC with a 'B' grade. The university comprises 37 member colleges that offer bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level courses in a variety of fields including Arts, Science, Commerce, B.Ed., and distance education.
Seminars, conferences, and workshops are held by the training and placement cell of the university from time to time for the benefit of students.

BRABU Admission 2024

Courses offered by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University have the following admission requirements:

Candidates for UG programs must have completed a recognized board of education's Class 12 examination or equivalent.
Candidates for PG courses must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in the appropriate discipline.
Candidates for B.Ed must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate; for B.Ed, the university offers an online mode of application to apply.

BRABU Application Process

Online applications are offered for admission to a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. For each program, the university has its own admissions process; select the appropriate choice from the UG, PG, and Ph.D. application forms. Candidates must first register an account in the Digital Document Management System and then generate a NAD ID before filling out the application form.

Candidates can go to brabu.edu.in/admission rules.php after successfully creating their NAD ID.
By giving accurate personal credentials, you will be able to register. Fill out the form online using your username and password.
Verify the documents and provide academic, personal, and NAD ID information. Pay the needed fee by debit card, credit card, e-Wallet, or Net Banking to confirm your admission.
Apply; the application fee is INR 600/- (plus a late fee of INR 1500/-) for general/ OBC candidates and INR 300/- (with a late fee of INR 1000/-) for SC/ ST candidates.

BRABU Facilities

The university provides a variety of facilities to meet the academic demands of students and faculty who are studying and teaching there. They offer services such as a hostel, healthcare, and sports. The specifics are listed below.

Hostel: Boys and females are housed in different hostels. To make the stay more pleasant, the hostels are furnished with a mess, furnishings, internet access, and a recreational area. Hostel guests are also provided with all of the necessary daily necessities. Check BRABU Hostel
Sports: The institution has sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor games equipment, to enhance students' physical and mental wellness. In addition, the university hosts many college-level events in which interested students and athletes from the university compete.

BRABU Scholarships

BRABU itself does not provide any financial assistance to its students. They are, however, strongly encouraged to apply for various scholarships offered by the state and central governments if they meet the eligibility requirements. BRABU offers state government-based scholarship/freeship programs that help almost all the students who belong to SC/ST/OBC/PwD students. For its students, the university provides information on various scholarship updates released by the government. Around 25% of the remaining students get scholarships or financial help through various schemes such as

UGC, ICSSR, and ICPR fellowships.
Rajiv Gandhi PG/Ph.D. scholarships etc.

There are also scholarships such as merit scholarships, caste category or backward category scholarships, and disability scholarships and students can apply for those scholarships if they meet the eligibility criteria. Students can also apply for educational loans from well-known banking firms.

Pros and cons of college.

Likes

There is well maintained library computer cleaning facilities. All students are too much interacted with the campus of college and academic things held by our college. Faculty are outstanding and well behaved with students.
Infrastructure of college is also too good. There is a space where student can involve in other activities like games , play outdoor , indoor facilities.
There is other academic things like ncc and games at different zones and the main things is abvp from which students get confidence.

Dislikes

Not proper sanitation facilities. Too much extra things spaces which are not useful.
Not proper canteen facilities. There is very short places for canteen facilities.
Many other things which are unnecessary are held in colleges which spoils the environment and discipline of the college.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

This course is too comfortable and by this course i can understand many thing. Teachers taughted us very well. There is a new thing for me and also intresting thing i liked this course so i choose this. I am very happy with curriculum and methods of teaching related to my course.

Total fees structure of the course

The total fee structure per year is 20,000 means for four year there is 80,000. There is no any scholarship founded by our college. No any difference of fee between the categories wise student like sc st and others, for everyone there is same fee structure along with library fees 2000 and registration fees 3000, admission fees 3500 and including other charges.

Various events, sports and library of the college

There is many functions held in all festives like diwali chath and pooja and many other things. There is good accessibility of books journals in the library. Facilities and technologies in classroom are too good. Sports and extracurricular activities held like ncc sports like badminton cricket and other sports. There is a group of abvp in our college which developed the confidence and social changes in student life.

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

Faculty student ratio is much enough and too good. Relationship holding between the student and faculty are amazing. There is great connectivity between them. Best faculty are the professor of botany named Dr. Rakesh singh .He is very humble and most liked by students for behaviour of them.Some faculty are not good for rage anger issues. There is eight semester held in our college. Some are hard and easy also . Many students get crossed in exams and most of them also passed with well marks . Marking scheme for college is on practical marks 100 and theory 100 which also include discipline attendance and copy submitting.

What is the admission process of the college?

I will choose this college because pf the attendance facilities because i am preparing for competitive exams and in this college there is a facilities of attendance and helped too much by professors regarding other colleges.i didn't get rejections from other colleges but i choose myself this college as per my comfortability. Admission process is similar to other colleges there is no any difference in this.

Night Life

There is no any nightlife around in our college.No any night hangouts , gym facilities , cafeteria in our college . One availability of canteen which is not proper well developed. But there is a safe locality place around the college campus.

This college is the best college in our locality because my home is just 1km away from the college. Also, this college is one of the best college for BSC. IN BIOTECHNOLOGY. I will suggest those who live in Hajipur can come to this college and educate yourself with practical knowledge. I have filled a form in which i have give 8 choices of colleges in Hajipur. Out of which I got this college . I am so happy about that . Admission process is simple for my college . Just you have to fill the form given by the college and then pay the fees of 1st year i.e. 14k and then you have your admission in my college.

Boys of my college come from rural areas so they don't know how to behave . They just fought for girls only .

I have chosen this college becuse when the list of colleges where asked from me to choose then i go through this college becuase this is very near to my home place and very good college from other colleges . No. I don't get any rejection as i chose this college only . Amission process is simple after giving 12th exam, we have to apply for colleges and keep good colleges on priority and those we don't want in down . After one month we get our required college. Pros and cons of college.

Likes

There is other academic things like ncc and games at different zones and the main things is abvp from which students get confidence.
There is well maintained library computer cleaning facilities. All students are too much interacted with the campus of college and academic things held by our college. Faculty are outstanding and well behaved with students.
Infrastructure of college is also too good. There is a space where student can involve in other activities like games , play outdoor , indoor facilities.

Dislikes

Not proper sanitation facilities. Too much extra things spaces which are not useful.
Many other things which are unnecessary are held in colleges which spoils the environment and discipline of the college.
