Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its course curriculum of the major in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is relatively current, and comprehensive in today ? s world. The vast majority of computer engineers ' essential courses are covered here. Starting in the first year of their program, students get to study fundamental programming, data structures and computer organization, all of which are necessary for successful development in computers. Introduce Interesting things courses such as computer networks, operating systems, machine learning, data bases and artificial intelligence occur at a steady pace as the academic year unfolds.

Internships Opportunities

5

My college has placed me in promising positions as far as internships are concerned, In particular, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students receive special attention as far as the Training and Placement Cell is concerned, They offer strategic assistance to students as far as internships for established companies and startups are concerned, From my readings, I understand that this is hugely beneficial in giving students the chance to understand the practical aspects of the theories they learn and even help develop the student’s work ethic.

Placement Experience

4

My college has fairly decent placements, particularly for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Every year, well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture come to campus for recruitment. There are good opportunities for students with strong technical and problem-solving skills from some product-based companies and startups. A few students get higher offers than the average package and that is also good depending on their performance and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is about 62,600 and the hostel fees and all the other expenses are nearly about 28,000.The mess is generally between 15000-20000.The tuition fees varies for the candidates whose income is less than 1 lakh and whose income is between 1-5 lakhs.

Campus Life

4

The different events help form a sense of community and belonging within the college as they encourage students to interact and collaborate with each other. These events promote a cooperative spirit that break the monotony of the academic schedule and offer a pleasurable change of pace. The inclusion of various activities ensures that everyone gets the chance to participate and engage with the college community. I have enjoyed events like the mock UN, where students got to experience what it's like to be part of a UN meeting.

Hostel Facilities

4

The accommodation offered by my college is very comfortable, as he helps listeners feel accommodated. The hosts are on campus, helping he helps listeners feel in and helping them be able to attend their classes, labs and other scheduled activities on time. The rooms are on campus, with the addition of ventilation. We can split the bigger rooms into smaller, shareable rooms. There is a bed, a study table, a chair, and a cupboard, in addition to furniture helping the listeners rooms.

Admission

I selected this college because it provided a good combination of quality education, reasonable charges and learning atmosphere where students would be able to grow both personally and professionally. When I compared this college with several other colleges I had also applied to, I saw that the college had a better technical ity than Northern Jiaotong University in terms of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program. This was mainly from faculty members who were experienced in industry besides books themselves, curriculum which kept pace with the times and good laboratory facilities. The placement records here were also good. Many well-known companies selected students on an annual basis under contract for entry positions through campus recruitment.

Faculty

4

The faculty is pretty decent considering the college but the core branches faculty can be a little harsh. The exams are conducted for 100 marks for each subject . 25 marks for the mid terms exams.15 marks for the class test.60 marks for the end term examination

Night Life

5

The area surrounding my college campus has a pleasant and enjoyable nightlife which is not overly busy or overcrowded. Because the college is primarily focused on academics and student safety, most on-campus activities cease running in the evenings. That said, the hostel precincts and adjacent areas are more than adequate for students to unwind and enjoy themselves after the daily lessons.

Placement Experience:

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course at HIT builds a strong foundation in core subjects like DSA, DBMS, OS, Networking, etc. making it solid for conceptual clarity and exams. However, it's not fully updated with modern industry trends like AI, cloud, DevOps, FullStack. Practical exposure is limited, so students must rely on self-learning and projects to stay industry relevant and placement ready.

The placements at halding Institute of Technology are decent specially for it CSE and allied branches. Many companies from software IT services and 4 sector visit the campus every year. Top recoders include TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra and other mid level ID firms. Average packages range around 3 to 4 LPA while some top performers rescue higher offers. For branches with fewer campus opportunities students focus on intensive Steel development and certification to enhance emploibility. Those who do not get campus offer higher studies like Mtech MBA competitive exams or startups insuring career growth after graduation.
