My journey and experience at NIT Durgapur

It is quite comprehensive and well structured covering both fundamental and advanced topics related to each branch.It provides a strong theoretical base while also including practical sessions,lab work and project components that help students apply what they learn.

The internships was good here and some of the companies offers internships include microsoft for software development intern and amazon for software engineer intern and tata steel for plant operations intern.

Yeah.For my branch,ECE the placements were quite good.The training and replacement cell really brings a good companies to the college in both IT and core sectors.However I can't say each and every person will get a placement.The one who didn't placed in the colleges were searching for off-campus placements and trying different suitable with their knowledge skills.

Yeah fests were conducted every year mainly the arohan(conducted in the first semester in nov month) and Recstacy(conducted in second semester in Feb month).And also I was included in a club called Radio NITroz which organizes the fests here.The range and accessibility of books were more and the best thing in the college was the library only.

The hostel facility was good.There are separate hostels for boys and girls.Drinking water supply is good and washrooms were clean all the time.The intime and outime timings for the students were limited.

I chose this college over other college because during my josaa counseling I searched for a best branch with best college.Among the all colleges I found it with a good placement rate for ECE and I also I listened there is no ragging in this college.When I couldn't make it to other colleges,some of my expectations were failed especially the examination performance.However it is slightly my fault not the college.

The faculty members are good at teaching.Being an ECE students I have 5 to 6 subjects per semester.And the marking includes the marks of the mid exams,labs and attendance.Every time the exam was conducted very organised and there will be 3 to 4 invigilators per a exam hall.

The nightlife in my campus was enriching and it is very peaceful.It is very excited during the fests.Particular hangover spots are there for doing night outs in the college which were conducted very good.
