Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good .the faculty approach the student in a understandable way.the lab sessions goes well.the quality of exam is above moderate sometimes difficult.the time given is good enough if we can manage it in a proper way
Internships Opportunities
Many companies take students for internships.the top companies like reliance and big four take the students.even the company apple took 8 students with a good stipend in 2025.even the students do internships under various professors from the same institute of other good institutions
Placement Experience
My college offers campus placements.the placement percentage is 82.average package is 12-15 lakhs.we can also study further if we want pursue higher degrees clearing gate entrance exams and getting into colleges like IIT.

Campus Life
The library is easily accessible with ebooks and also journals....intra nit and inter not sports are being conducted.the club environment is good to develop skills and the clubs conduct workshops which helps other students to develop skills.the technical clubs conduct a tech fest named aarohan in which some workshops and games are conducted by the clubs.the annual fest is recstacy.
Hostel Facilities
The hotel is maintained very nearly.cleaning is done two times a day.the mess food is good and not that bad that u can't even eat.the mess fee is affordable.many students prefer hostels than pg or a rented room cause college hostel is very good even the environment
Admission
I chose department of mechanical engineering in nit Durgapur cause the college has a great name for its core courses provided.the faculty of my course have a great knowledge and appreciate the students for the success
Faculty
The faculties can be approached easily and they assist the students in a good way.The grading policy is good compared to many colleges there is no relative grading in which students can gain good confidence.
Night Life
There is gym which is accessible for both girls and boys in different timings.the cafeterias are available upto 10:30pm.the library is accessible upto 9pm usually but will be extended in the exam times.campus is pretty safe to roam around night.
